Somehow, we managed to spend almost a week in the Washington rainforest last week and not get rained on. It did, however, rain on us for all of one of our two days in the desert. :eek: Go figure :D

Great start to the morning. About a block from the office some old woman in a Lincoln Town Car decided she wanted to try and turn left in as I'm coming through the intersection at about 35-40 MPH. Now, I don't see how the hell you miss a bright red truck at 8 in the morning, but she did. I don't know how I missed hitting her, but I should have just run the ***** over.

The president of the company just came around and handed out cold Guinness to everyone still here in the office (of which there is like five). :D

I have a Guinness in hand right now :)

Of course I bought it myself.

And I'm not at work.

Although I was one of the last to leave the office today, no one was handing out beverages. :o

This has to be the coldest, wettest year in Maine in many decades. My garden is going to produce near nothing if it doesn't stop raining. Everything is yellow from too much water.

On a better note, just came home from a couple Lobster Ales, scallops and toll house pie. Excellant:)

Spaetzle is alright, but I'm still looking for a place that can do justice to another German dish, Maultaschen. Of course, its more of a Swabian dish, SW Germany, but its pretty dang good if its done right. Just home from work. Everyone else gone by 5. This is the part of my job I am not fond of. I am breathing in and out tho so I guess the world is OK.

Evening, Lodge. Had a great day at work, followed by a great dinner at Glenside Pub... tomorrow will be even better. 14-mile run in the morning! :D

I'm at Sloe Gin/Quiz's place. I'm watching them run a tri tomorrow, then we're probably going to New Belgium then to a Rockies game.

They have personally requested that I wear the hot dog hat to the tri.

ETA: Sloe Gin says you all suck.

Tell him that I have secured the necessary items to complete a goal I mentioned for my trip to Denver. I won't use them unless he hammerpunches himself. He'll shut up. :D

out of the St. Mary's river, headed westbound on Superior now.

Should be up off Copper/Eagle around noon tomorrow, then Duluth at the great time of 3 in the morning.

Pity you're not out on Huron right now, you could watch a lot of the sailboats in the Port Huron to Mackinac Island boatrace. And let me know who to put my money on winning in one or 2 of the pools that are run up there amoung the dockhands and porters. ;) :D
