Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

long day, just got up to Port Huron an hour or so ago, including a 2 hour fuel stop in Windsor it took us 12+ hours to go from Monroe all the way up.

Winger, that's the exact opposite train of thought by most females regarding this career, usually we're away too much, and things fall apart. It definitely isn't a career thats ideal for having a family, but there are ways to make it easier, and the pay is typically really good.
I took care of a lovely family that had a Dad who was Capt somewhere on the Pacific, I think. He came home in patches. They had 3-4 kids and a great relationship. Kids are fine too.

Good morning boyz! Rain in 978 land too. Lots. Haven't turned on the TV to see if it is a flood watch but Mr just confirmed they put one up last night.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! friday is here. yes it is.

Work should be interesting. My boss is on vacation this coming week, starting this afternoon. The dip I share my office with works 1/2 days on Friday and likes to make a habit of not finishing things, not telling me and leaving me to put out the fires. The office manager is off at 3:30. My morning is already booked fairly full and I am covering this afternoon which has 2-3 physicals already booked. I should be home, oh, around 10 tonight. I will also probably run 1 hr behind. I hate Fridays.

Great start to the morning. About a block from the office some old woman in a Lincoln Town Car decided she wanted to try and turn left in as I'm coming through the intersection at about 35-40 MPH. Now, I don't see how the hell you miss a bright red truck at 8 in the morning, but she did. I don't know how I missed hitting her, but I should have just run the ***** over.

Good Morning Lodge!

Raining here as well, looks like it rained hard overnight, I haven't replaced my rain guage so I have no idea how much. The weather map indicates that it may let up in a couple of hours.
I did get the lawn mowing caught up yesterday, so it's couple of indoor jobs this morning and then out of town to a maple event for the weekend.

The meterwurst is awesome. In fact, anything you get at that place rules. There was one about 1/2 hour west of me (Montrose, for those who are familiar with the Cities) that my friends and I would go to about once every two months and just gorge ourselves. Unfortunately, I hear they closed up shop, and the only Gasthof is the one in Nordeast Mpls.

I could go for some spatzle right now. :(
I want spatzle. :( Thanks for reminding me of another thing I get to miss with the craptastic timing of this China trip. Tomorrow is German Park. I should be eating spatzle and drinking Spaten by the bucket. But instead I will sit on an airplane for 15 hours and then sit on another airplane for 3 hours.

It cannot be considered perfect. It has mayo on it.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

Sounds like it has been a tough morning for people. Let's try this thing I learned a long time ago...

Inhale.
Exhale.

Did it work? If yes, then everything's fine by comparison.
If no, you have bigger problems...and you might want to call 9-1-1...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 78: The Rep Lodge Yacht club.

That would be ketchup. Or catsup. :)
Blasphemy.

Mayo (Miracle Whip) is good on BLT's and subs. Ketchup and mustard are good on burgers and hotdogs. I really don't see why anyone would hate any of these three condiments.

Mornin lodge! Today's the end of a busy week for me. Tonight's our annual gala (200 people, $75/person  ) which means I get to spend my afternoon up to my elbows in chocolate and raspberries. Should be an enjoyable afternoon :D

Honestly, the only reason I have a bottle of ketchup in my fridge is because con1977 bought it at the F5 this past spring. :o

I like BBQ sauces, and well, that's about it, usually. F* mustard, mayo, ketchup, guacamole, and sour cream. All are terrible and should burn in hell. Well, ketchup can stay in purgatory. It's okay.

Good morning Lodge.

Beautiful morning here in 320land. Vacation day for me today. Tee time in 30minutes.

What is spatzle?

Morning, kids! Walked out the back door this morning with my 3 framed hockey posters and a few framed pictures to put into the car for moving tonight and I walked into a lake! The entire parking lot where my car is, is totally flooded! (Luckily I have an SUV, so it's high enough off the ground that I'm not worried about any real damage). And, of course, because the MBTA can't perform it's services correctly in any precipitation, I was 15 minutes late to work on a day when my coworker wasn't there to cover (she has the day off) and I was informed that I need to constantly follow up on one of my bosses on absolutely everything because he can't be held responsible for doing things. That would be okay, if he was my only boss...
/complaining
*sigh*
It's Friday -- I'm going to the new apt. tonight to drop things off. I'm seeing the amazing bf this weekend. I'm still breathing. Trying to just make it until 5.

I was with you on the mayo, and somewhat with tDarkness on the mustard (I dislike yellow mustard, but a nice brown mustard can be good).

But now you're saying things about ketchup, guacamole and sour cream and that is just unacceptable. Mmm...ketchup.

What is spatzle?
Delicious. http://www.aaltonet.com/spaetzle/spaetzle.html
Noodle/dumpling German side dish. Yummy.
