Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

are you still waiting for Cosby to kick the bucket? :p

He might never go. He's hooked up to the same cryogenics machine as Bob Barker and Dick Clark.

(He did run track in college, so he's actually pretty darn healthy I bet. Unless he took advantage of all those free Jell-O Puddin' Pops.)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

Kinda. I've been accepted into the Ann Arbor Institute of Massage Therapy. Not really school in the traditional sense, but I don't think I'll be lacking for study buddies. Its been something I've thought about doing, just finally getting the kick in the pants about actually doing it. :o

NOT who I'd be expecting to see were I to walk into the average massage parlor.

Also, not someone who I'd ask for *additional* services.

On a side note: sopapillas son deliciosos. :D

I see this ending up like the "Test Your Might" game on Mortal Kombat 1.

Just remember, Monster: a broken spine does not constitute a "happy ending."

Well my hat is off to you sir. I think there need to be more male masseuses. I get a massage once a year and always ask for a male masseuse; they have much stronger hands/better grip/more force, but aren't always available.

So what you're saying is that you like it rough? ;) :D
not that it's a bad thing

I'm not planning on working at those Rub and a Tug type places. :p

As long as its not my spine, who says I wouldn't be happy about it?? ;)

The Monster can do rough. :)

You going to be in the Port of Monroe for a bit Thursday, or are you going to be turning right around as soon as you unload??

Probably a 9-10 hour unload, then heading back up north. We'll be there 3 times this month with split loads for St. Clair/Monroe.

Talk about a ****ty dock.

FAFSA? Going back to school?

It's actually a gorgeous night in the UP. Cold, but that's nothing new, and at least the sun is out.

Yes, it was pretty nice up that way today.

Pretty good day yesterday overall, we've got a guy onboard who brought a box FULL of expired flares that just needed to be used up, made for some fun times this afternoon just east of Manitou Island.

Then last evening he gave a 1 hour course for Red Cross CPR/AED and first aid certification, so I have both of those for free.

But yes, 42 degrees on July 7th at high noon wasn't something I thought was pleasant.

Should be down to St. Clair around 10 tonight. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

s'upp y'all.... golf tourney starts today with practice round and pairings party. the quest for $$$$$!!:D

A friend's fiancee is thinking about going back to school for that. I am strongly encouraging her. It fits with her personality as well.

Would you focus on sports massage or therapeutic/spa massage?

focus on the happy ending!;)

Good morning, Lodge. Already got two loads of laundry and a load of dishes done, plus the trash is emptied and hauled to the road.

Nice! Excellent way to start the day.

Took a different route to work today. Drove out to a totally different T station (Wellington) and approached the city from the North instead of the West. Change is good. (Also, I need my car to be on the North side of the city post-work so I can get a jumpstart on the traffic and figured it would be easiest to just park there at take the T.)

Morning Lodge.

Lions Clubs International are having their convention a couple blocks away from my office this week. Lots of old folks in funny clothes walking around (even older than me, with even funnier clothes:p ). We really get the best conventions here - the Lions, the RNC, the Baptists a few years back. Rockin good times I tell ya...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

Morning Lodge.

I had the best time at mini-golf last night. My friends are just as crazy as I am. I got 1 over par on the first hole and decided to do a "bogey boogie". The next hole my friend got par and decided to do a "par pantomime". This resulted in every hole, every person doing something based on their score for that hole. If on the 4th hole we all shot par, we all did the same "par pantomime" for that hole, whatever the first person came up with. Then, one of my friends got a hole-in-one and decided to do "ace aerobics". My friend who has an aerospace engineering degree decided he'd do "ace aeronautics".

Anyway, it continued and we had a ton of fun. The best was when other groups would just stare at us, dumbfounded.

Great! Want to help me do my chores? I honestly thought about taking the morning off so I could get a bunch of little chores completed. Sadly, I came in to work. Now I just have to decide if I do chores tonight or if I leave them for the weekend and go play board games at a friend's house tonight.

Thanks; I try. I figure the more I do, the better I feel.

At least the Lions do something useful for the community; perhaps you can get them to send free specs to Derek Sheperd and the other WCHA refs...

Must have just missed you!! Wellington is my stop.

Somehow, the rain stopped long enough to get the game in last night. In fact, the sun actually came out for a bit. Odd. However, it was 63 degrees at game time. 63. On July 7th. Then it got chillier. Watching a game on July 7th while shivering is just wrong.
