It was gorgeous this week during the day. And supposed to be the same starting Monday. Blech.

Just completed a mountain of paperwork from a HS soccer game I reffed tonight. 3 ejections and 5 cautions, two of the ejections from a post-game fight between two players. Smaller Latino kid punched a large Samoan kid straight in the face, big mistake, small Latino kid got pummeled for that mistake. Had already ejected a kid for pushing someone in the face in the second half. It would've been massively entertaining if I hadn't spent the last two hours completing reports. Also, neither school had an admin present like they're supposed to so that'll be fun for them.

Morning, Lodge. Had a fun time yesterday at LWB's, thankfully the rain held off all day while we were grilling and such. You know you're getting old when you spend the evening playing cribbage and watching the baseball game, and consider it a "big night." :)

Dreary here today, looks like Netflix Day since the golf has pretty much been decided.

I was like that for a few months after my mom passed. Then it becomes a less frequently referenced event. (Thinking about this, it's been 5.5 years since my mom passed away.)

So very sorry for your loss Swansong. May your memories of her be a comfort to you. My family and I had my dad's 40-day memorial service at church yesterday. I still can't believe he's gone.
