Evening, Lodge. 3 day weekend, due to taking a random day off on Monday. No idea what I'm doing for fun, yet. Might just be a Masters/college hockey weekend.
You could run in the Boston Marathon.![]()
I don't even like walking to the gas station down the block.![]()
I could see The Rube cruising down Boylston Street sparking one heater after another as he basks in the glory of a Boston Marathon win!

Breathes...
I did a stupid.
2019 Mazda MX-5, Machine Grey, RF (Retractable Fastback power convertible top,) 6-speed manual, GTS package (takes the highest level GT trim and adds the sporty parts off the Club trim to it.) Only options it's missing are the Brembo brakes and the Recaro seats, which is probably for the best as a daily.
Was looking at the Kia Stinger, but I took one last look at prices for the Mazda at the local stealership and they were NPB.
Was planning on the soft top, but couldn't resist the RF - it's drop dead gorgeous with the hard top, looks like an exotic almost. Reminds me of a Nissan Z kinda.
Gets an extra 25 HP over the 2018 (and 40 over my old NB,) and you really feel it above 4 grand. It wants to rev. I shift at 3500 and I swear I feel the engine making the "disappointed father" face at me. Plus I can actually survive I-25 now.
If the soft top is cloth, NO. I have known too many people who regretted that, due to the care involved with it. Hard-top or vinyl, that's it. And Nissan Z's don't get enough credit from the everyday normal car people. Love those cars.
Believe they're vinyl. My NB was a soft top and apart from one little pinhole it held up OK.
Big knock against the hard top on the Miata is it adds 100 pounds, and Miata geeks are weight watchers.
