Howdy Lodge peeps. Went to the Red Sox game ton. First one since my dad passed. Was a little weird. The Sox have been playing like crap so far this season and when Toronto jumped out to a 5-0 lead, I figured it was just par for the course. Then they tied it up, lost the lead agin, the won in the bottom of the 9th!! Needed that. Both me and the Red Sox..

:)

Nice looking kid there!

I've got night shift tonight. So far he's been more active at night, and sleeping in the day. So we planned ahead, and I slept late afternoon and evening so I could stay up. Now he's sleeping on my chest, as I sit in the recliner. So far, so good!

Evening, Lodge. Was ZOMG surprised by a an out of town friend showing up at the corner store, because she knew I would be there at that particular time. Blew my mind, jaw dropped. It was all the awesome. Plus, the owner of the corner store did a favor and filled a growler of beer that normally would not be filled (chocolate orange stout, from a firkin). I jokingly mentioned I'd like one, he said sure. NO clue that he was serious about it. He was. :D They don't fill growlers on demand to begin with. :D

Plus, beautiful afternoon. The clouds cleared, and now a nice sunny evening.
She’s sneaky, that one... :D

Hambone is lucky to have such a great dad.

Mornin’ y’all.

So, as hp did, I decided to prioritize my health and I started that Jan 2. I’ve dropped 37 pounds in that time, done a lot of stationery biking(I’m no Ralph but I’m trying!). I feel sooooo much better daily. I sleep better. I now weigh what I did my sophomore year of college, which is something I wasn’t sure I’d be able to do.

Took a few years too long, but it’s well worth it once you get the ball rolling.

I am impressed by people who can ride stationary bike. I find them very boring.

Good on ya. It really wasn't hard at all for me, mostly dietary changes. Been holding past couple months just below where I was senior year of college. Had I known it wasn't as difficult as I imagined, would have done it years ago.
