If you're going to operate a card shop, make sure your inventory doesn't look like 10 gallons of **** jammed into a 5 gallon bucket.

And I found another set to put together. Back down the rabbit hole we go...

1975. I bought a bunch for virtually a song. Plus the minis, too. I have no idea what I'm going to do with those.

5 of the 18 sets are done, 2 more are extremely close, and I'm about 85% done with the entire project, if I'm reading my spreadsheet correctly.

Good Evening Lodge (er Country Club)!

Today was a good day except for the Dory winning and shutting out ND (not that I can stomach them either).

Mookie likes 75 cause it is brett's rookie (fav player as a yoot)

I have both Brett and Yount (2 Younts, actually). There's a LOT of HOF'ers in both that set and '76.

I'm kicking around the idea of going to the national show in Chicago this year at the end of July.

Mornin'. 2 full days of hockey watching are now over. I'm sad that the AIC dream has ended, but hey, it was a good run. Definitely a pile day today.

Mookie has always kidded around the idea of hitting up the national.... of course will be hard now.

Mookie has 7 bretts- sent three to psa to rate. Those dudes are tough. 2 sevens are the highest.
Have the yount and Brett in mini too. That set will never be completed.

I'm probably just going to unload the minis. VG condition at best, the only one I have of any significance is Bob Gibson. I'm still kicking around what I'm going to do with the full sized 75's. There's some big ones I'm missing out of that set.

PSA is very tough. One thing I do like it that that they (and collectors) do take age of card into account. IIRC, a pre-1986 "7 rating" is like a post-1986 "9 rating."
