Afternoon Lodge. At the airport waiting for my flight to Philly. I'm a bit early. I may go get food. There's a Johnny Rockets in this terminal. Chocolate shake, don't mind if I do!
*moan*

Mmmm...Johnny Rockets. Been awhile since I've had that. I think there is still one at MoA...

I'm about 30 minutes outside Philly across the river in NJ. Flying outta there tomorrow night back to TPA.

All of a sudden it got a little nasty out. It's like someone just flipped a switch.

Philadelphia is really not an attractive city. At all. And it's really muggy here.

HHH here. Gardened all day, 2nd laundry in, brownies just out of the oven. Now I am tired.

Hope everyone had a good weekend, two of my best friends from college got married Saturday just north of Detroit, wow that was a fun time. The ride back home today, not so much.

Well, went to buy a new tv. For what I wanted, I basically had 2 choices. Either get a 43" plasma for $400, plus $70 for delivery/disposal of old tv, or a 50" plasma for $500 and free delivery/disposal. The choice was obvious. :D
SHould be an awesome TV. I've been trying to buy a new TV for about 4 weeks now and finally got final approval to go above our plan to close the deal. The TV I've been wanting has been out of stock at Best Buy (and pretty much everywhere) since I settled on it but the guys at Best Buy were able to slash the price of the next model up by $700 to close the deal for us! Can't wait!

Still amazed at that discount. That's HUGE.

Honestly, yeah, I'd love a 60"+ but due to apt size, it would obviously take away optimal viewing experience for crispness of picture. After some reading, 42 is perfect, 46 is very acceptable, and 50 is passable. Anything more than that...meh. BB mentioned the 720/1080 bit, I laughed, b/c that really doesn't matter until you get to the 60" range IIRC.

yeah me too, the reason I knew it was possible was that he cut the cost on the 60" version by $600 from a sale price. Still paid more than I wanted but now I don't have to wait another month for a TV. Cant wait to see how it looks in the Man Cave...If there is a game 7 maybe I'll invite you guys over to watch.

Just curious if anyone has ever seen a paternoster, a type of elevator that is more like a continuously moving Ferris wheel in two shafts. The topic came up in my German class on Saturday as there are still many in use in Germany.
