Great front porch night. Surfing a little, reading a little, and currently grooving to Exile On Main Street.

It is a rather nice night out. Minus a blip later tonight/tomorrow morn, it's supposed to be wonderful this weekend.

Boyfriend was surprised that we were going to Weird Al concert tonight. Lots of fun. Hilarious, awesome. I wonder how many total costumes there were(nearly every song was a costume change for the entire band).

That's the only thing that makes me NOT want to see Weird Al live. How long are the delays for costume changes?

Quick notification: for anyone who doesn't FB, or I somehow missed you, on Saturday June 29th, join me and friends at the Cooper Irish Pub in St Louis Park for my "Still Living Longer Than Jesus Did" get-together. 8ish pm for the start time, although I bet I'll be there a touch earlier. :)

I saw him at the state fair a few years ago. He is really quick with it. He puts on one hell of an awesome show, IMO.

I've seen a concert on TV, but you know how they edit those things. Thanks for the info. :)

If I play my cards right...I may have just found my 30th birthday/"thanks for doing your boss' job for the past 4 months" present to myself.

S'upp y'all

First off - ScarletT? Really moookie?

Second, she's not actually my boss. She is my boss' peer, same department, different team. But I work with her. And she came to the Emmys with me two years ago. I went in to her office to tell her you texted me to tell me you were playing golf with her husband. And then I said "Oh, did you know your husband was playing golf today? I probably should have lead with that."

That was the iPhone correcting the spelling :)

The kid just graduated, not sure if I'm happy or sad. One chapter is closed and another starts. What am I going to do next spring when he isn't playing baseball? No one to go to hockey games with me, no one to yell and scream at Timmay with me. I don't think I thought this thru to well
There should be an arrest development button.

Went out with the girls from work to the local amusement park last night. We all got fake tattoos. Got home and told Mr les it was real- showed him from across the room. His face was priceless. Lil's face was even better this AM. Still chuckling.

I am curious and afraid at the same time...

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #2*2*7*6: It's Summer, why is there MATHS?!

Good Morning Lodge. And a good morning it appears. May be the first real nice, summery weekend so far.

My building is right off a major highway that heads north (and connects with one of the two main highways in my neck of the woods that really head north). Usually, you can see the rush hour start around 3-3:30ish. Today? 1:30-2ish. It's a decent cue, unscientific as it is. Also, getting kudos from the boss for my work this week, as far as hitting all the deadlines with somewhat ease, despite not having a co-worker help, which is the usual scenario. :)

I am now on summer hours - four 9 hour days then work 7:30-11:30 Friday. Stayed a little late yesterday to clean some things up so left about 12:10. The rush was on then on 35W. I was headed south and so were many others so it was like going at 3:30 or so (slow down at the curve and 94-35 commons for locals). The northbound was tied up like morning rush already. Congrats on the kudos.

Kind of wish I had ordered my new books earlier in the week, so I'd have them this weekend. Probably going to spend most of the day on the patio finishing the book I'm on.

Ugh on 35. I remember taking many a trip to Duluth, and having to try and time it to miss the northern traffic rush. Usually never worked. Although the summer traffic gives me reason to laugh at my brother, who works in St Louis Park and lives near Zimmerman. Hwys 101 and 169 are a b* because of all the cabin traffic. :D

Thanks on the congrats, too.:)
