HHT. Happy for the seniors to get a W on their night, but I'm not gonna lie, setting ANOTHER school record for losses (last year) would have been kinda lol.

*HT. WCHA referees don't know Rule 26.2. :mad:

Edit: For those wondering, UAA took a shot with ~7 seconds left and the UAF goalie intentionally dislodged the net. They gave him a penalty instead of awarding a goal and UAA lost 2-1.

Yeah, I know. But it’s pretty gutless to just call a penalty with 7.x seconds left when it was clearly done intentionally. Frankly the officiating was a gongshow the whole weekend, that was just the frustrating cherry on top.

Good Morning Lodge!

Post season hockey looms large. I used to follow all the diff scenarios, etc. Now I just wait and see. Way less anxiety. Now lilnsl is following this and discussing it with everyone arouund our seats. I guess he really isn't so lil anymore

Evening, Lodge. Relaxing day today, hit up church and the corner store, got my new membership glassware from the corner store; they chose goblets this year. Lots of geeking out over movies, given that the Oscars were last weekend.

This season, I had no reason to look at bracketology. Just an occasional glance at the pairwise to confirm what I already know; win or go home time.
I have a feeling our season ends this weekend. While I usually love the match-up of the UMs (typically fast paced, up and down the ice, with a ton of talent on both sides), knowing the season is on the line makes me afraid to watch. Watching my team lose in overtime 3 games in a row isn't sparking enthusiasm either.

Good morning Lodge. Just came in from digging my car out. I'm at my folks place. Apparently the plow company came by this morning and beeped their horn, which I didn't hear because my parents' apartment is on the back side of the building. I cleared the car off and pulled out of the spot and moved it. I had brought my shovel with me from home and started clearing out the spot but one of the plow company guys was there and told me to leave my car where it is and the plows would be back to do more clean up. Hopefully the roads will improve over the course of the day and allow me to drive home tonight.

Also, WRT to my team, I'm with wT and les. One regular season game left. They have to win. Borderline possibility for home ice. I honestly am not paying much attention. They have no one to blame but themselves if they don't get it. Let the cards fall where they may.

I received an unknown part of £50.7M from Abigail Herbert. I assumed for lack of a better estimate that I will get half, or £25.35M. Using 1.32 $/£, that is $33.462M. It was dated 2/24/19, so I entered it as of that date. That in turn slightly affected how much the unknown amount from Arnold Barnes in message #901 is worth. I now have a total of $190,979,653.34.

What’s this post season you guys talk about?

I did the math Saturday while discussing how much I will not miss this seasons senior class and found UAA had 25 wins in 4 seasons. 25 wins! I’ve also mentioned how UAA basically has one season to show improvement or the program will likely be cut. Of course this just gets me called “a negative person trying his best to destroy the program.” :rolleyes:
It’s amazing how deep the losing culture runs here.
