Last night, car blew a tire as I was leaving work, hardcore. No saving it. Was about 100yds from work (frontage road, didn't worry about leaving it overnight, no chance of getting a tow that late in the day). Get in early today, make the call at 8am, tow came at 1pm. Yeah. NewBoss was cool enough to not worry about extended lunch, and got me back to my building.

After work, which ended 30 minutes before the repair shop closed, ride was late. So 20 minutes before the shop closed, I made an executive decision to jog there (walking wouldn't have made it in time), in -10 degree weather, 1.2 miles, in my steel toes. To be somewhat fair, I also had an Air Force parka as a coat, so it wasn't completely frigid. To top it off, I slipped and fell once, and re-aggravated my sore area from earlier this week.

And then the Gophers got stomped. Ugh.

This week has sucked.

*HT. Adam Wodon had some popcorn-type stuff to say about the program over on "That Other College Hockey Site" today. And I agree. Clean house from the top down.

HHT! Beating your rival at their home when your team is easily the worst team in college hockey is sooooooooooo satisfying...

Oh, yeah, *HT. Didn't even bother after it got to 4-2. That bad. And it got worse, from what I heard. *sigh*
