Evening y’all. Heat wave coming Saturday, high of 34. A whopping 95 degree difference in feels like temp and 65 degrees in real temp.

Ugh, rough day at work. Since most of our carriers weren't working yesterday, backlog of stuff today. Lots of phone calls, lots of orders sitting around my building (dumped on from main building, whose attitude is: "Just bring it to off-site, they'll handle it"). Yeah. Got it all cleared out, but it was a mess. Will be glad when this week is over. Light work due to weather, but lots of hassle.

Thankfully, I'm good with my truck drivers, they know the drill, and they know I try my best to make their jobs easier. That's the first rule of warehousing: keep your drivers happy, because either they will bend over backwards for you, or they will make your life hell.

Unexpectedly got to have lunch with a friend today and it has made the whole day more enjoyable.
A guy I play softball with was at Wendy's at the same time as me. Since I normally only see him during the Summer, it was nice to catch up.

Have a feeling which table I'll be at. In the 2nd, we were being outshot 19-0 with about 6 min to go. And we're also down 3-1.
