Afternoon, Lodge.
Just re-signed another lease for Chez Rube, and true to their word, rent stayed the same. If I were a new renter, rent would be about $150/mo more expensive on a 1 year lease.
Packed up for vacation, and now the hardest part: waiting to leave tomorrow. Weather looks great for the most part, too. We really haven't had bad weather up there for this trip yet. *crossesfingers*

FREE AT LAST FREE AT LAST THANK GOD ALMIGHTY I'M FREE AT LAST. Well, until the 23rd of this month.
I'm off all next week. Co-worker off the week after that. DHead Boss is in Chicago all next week, eliminating one person (out of 3) who knows how to do my job. And they are still short-staffed at the main building. One new-hire punched out for lunch this week, never came back. One quit at the end of the day because he didn't realize the physicality of the job.
So, I'm gonna enjoy the F*K out of my trip to MI. Counting the hours until Tuesday when I leave.

Sorry, I'm sure it was in jest, but we bought last year after renting for years and there are pluses and minuses to both. I can't stand the whole idea that renting is worthless.
-Question for you? Where are your seats at Fenway? We're heading in for a concert this weekend (Foo Fighters) and 2 for Pearl Jam. I think our PJ seats might be near your seats and I wondered about the comfort and view...
