Good Evening Lodge!

Spent the day cleansing things like books we don't want. Now havve boxes of them and trying to figure out is they are worth anything

For books, unless they are first editions, probably not. Dunno what else you have, but maybe casually hit up antique shops and generally mention some stuff you may have and see if they are interested. If so, then look deeper into those items.

Somewhere fairly close will take many of the regular books. It is the texts I spent $$ on that kill me to get rid of. THose ones are not old enough to be desired and too old to be useful

Some sort of museum, maybe? Or historical archive that tracks the evolution of medicine? Other than that, I have nothing.

I received $15.5M from Mr. Joel C. Sweren. That is slightly more than all of the money which I received in July. The total is now $760,351,847.53.

I received $14.9M from Mrs. Christy Walton. The total is now $775,251,847.53.

Good Morning Lodge!

RFAlph~ what are you going to do with all your money? Invest, spend, donate?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 197: Hot! Hot! Hot!

Evening, Lodge. So, what is it about Sept 22? EVERYTHING is going on that day:

1. LTD Brewing block party, with a special bottle release/Oktoberfest.
2. A Gopher Puck Live (sorta) annual fall party.
3. A Plymouth Old Chicago (RIP) reunion bonfire hosted by one of the old bartenders at his place
4. Johnny Holm Band (for the non-midwesterners, he's LEGENDARY) playing (apparently for free) in a mall parking lot that is about 3 miles from my place. He usually gets $10/ticket at the bars. I guess the city wanted to do a thing for something or other.

I'll make 1, 2, and 4. The timing works out, although it'll be tight (volunteering for #1, helping setting up and such).

Good Morning Lodge!

Continuing the clean out today. Off to a used book store that trades things in.
