OMG I got gas Saturday morning and it seemed like the guy had a hard time with putting the fuel cap back on. Could it be that simple?? So, if I fix that and screw it in properly will the light go out on it’s own or do they need to fix something to reset it?

It should reset on it's own eventually. Depends on the brand. Some will turn off right away, others will turn off after a certain number of starts.

Good morning. Here at Caesar’s Palace waiting to check in. There’s about 30 people ahead of me. There’s ONE person working check in. I probably won’t get to my room for another hour.

There are some limits to what it can be used for, which should be defined by some codes and standards organization like ISO, SAE, etc. I don't think they'd use it for tires, as that has its own stupid, pointless light now. But, the check engine light can be used for anything engine related, and I'm guessing that not having the fuel cap on triggers a fault code amber lamp for some kind of fuel pressure in the tank, and that drives the light. But everyone should remember, the check engine light is only the amber lamp, it is a warning. If there is anything more serious wrong, you will get one of a few things: 1) your engine will fail with no warning, not even with a warning from the check engine light (for example, break your timing belt, no warning, boom, new power cylinders needed) 2) you will get a red lamp on you dash, a severe shutdown lamp, if you get that, pull over, and turn off the engine 3) your engine will go into an automatic limp mode derate and you can limp to a shop. In short, feel free to check why your check engine light came on, but it should not keep you from driving your car, 99.9999% of the time any issue that trips a check engine light is very minor, or non-existent.

My car has one engine light. If it just turns on, warning. No big deal, probably the fuel cap. If it is a situation where you should pull over and call a tow, it flashes and there's an alarm that sounds. If you ignore it it will eventually go into limp mode.

I remember reading a list of the fault codes on the older Wranglers. There's a fault code for a CD stuck in the player.

Good Evening Lodge!

It is not good to have a migraine when it is nasty hot. Not like the ones I used to get with blinding headache but I hate the fuzzy feeling and sense there should be something I can do to feel a bit better. I have been ready to go back to bed since 6:30 this morning. :(

It's not good to have a migraine on any day. I had one on Sunday, the first one I've had in a while. It zapped me until about 6:30 PM.

I don't really get them as much as I used to but I hate feeling exhausted, stupid and fuzzy headed. Stops any momentum for getting things done

I have been in that mode for 2 weeks thanks to scheduling issues. I feel like a zombie. I would have liked to have called out today -- headache, nausea, can't remember when I slept for more than 3 hours (I haven't called out in the 3 years that I have been at my current place), but no staff, so here I am...

What's a CD player? My Wrangler came with factory standard cassette player. :D

To be honest, my Cam has a CD player, but no plug in for an MP3. Just bluetooth hookup. Which is worthless to me. ;)

Not safe. That is why they need to schedule better. Stay home. The stupidvisors might actually have to cover you. THey do that enough times and they might staff appropriately.

We had one call out already (I didn't know that when I drove in today). My patient just died, so now I'm in charge and I have an extra nurse :mad: Nobody who actually works on the floor knows how to staff :mad:
