Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 196: Spam, Spam, Spam

Supervisor told me I might have to go to Russia to develop a new engine cal in the field on some new ****ed up Russian gas that those ******** probably unearthed in bum**** Siberia. Great. Just ****ing great.

(I currently think it is a very low chance of happening, which is good for my sanity)

Enjoy Magadan! Hopefully you finish project before winter when hotel place gets closed in, Mr. Torrance.

Please tell me some of you understood that reference!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 196: Spam, Spam, Spam

Greetings Lodge. Working from home today, opened up my sliding door to the balcony to sit out there to work and a fly got into my apartment. And now I can't get it out. What a pain! Though, I was able to spend a few hours poolside, checking email so I was kinda working. :) I have one last conference call at 2pm, then I'm calling it a day.

It is so miserable outside, I will only set foot outdoors if I'm going from one climate controlled area to another.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 196: Spam, Spam, Spam

At 4pm it was 98 degrees, 107 Heat Index. 73 Dew Point was the MINIMUM I heard. Yeah, a tad warm.

Let's put it this way, I actually turned on my A/C. It's off now, because it's night, and not so bad out, and my apt is a comfortable 83 degrees. Yes, I'm serious. :)

There is nothing comfortable about 83 degrees. You could keep a small child hydrated with only my ball sweat at 83 degrees.

That's a lovely picture.

To me, there is nothing comfortable about 20 degrees.

20 degrees is as perfect as weather gets. No worries about getting cold or hot while snowmobiling. Cold enough to not be slushy, but warm enough to not need to cover up exposed skin. Perfect.

80, maybe 85, NO DEW POINT, maybe a slight breeze, sunny. I'd even go 90-95 under the right circumstances.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 196: Spam, Spam, Spam

I've thought about moving before but 3 things:
1. Hockey (MN hockey, dammit)
2. 4 seasons, not 1.
3. Family (and friends)

1. Coyotes and ASU
2. You seem to only like 1 season
3. I obviously would prefer you stay here.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 196: Spam, Spam, Spam

This weekend marks 6 years since i left MN.

Bbdl did not tell me he'd prefer i stayed. :D

6 years already? Time flies!

Mornin' Lodge. Nothing to do today, so headed to South Church (Apple Valley for the locals). Meeting up with a fellow GPLer (he's a HUUUUUUUGE bicth! ;) ).
I'm feeling twice my age today. Work week was rough. Found a couple new muscles I didn't know I had, let's put it that way.

At 83 you must be in your bath tub filled with cold beer for it to be comfortable.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 196: Spam, Spam, Spam

I've been in my house where it's been 80-82 and it was comfortable. I keep the air at 75. It ran a good majority of today, since it hit about 95 or so this afternoon. When used properly, blinds and a ceiling fan can make a sizable difference.
