Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #190: Springing Forward

Bittersweet day here.

Graduation was yesterday at AC. While I'm very happy that the girls I came to see graduated, I'm also very sad to see them go. For the last four years I got to watch them start to get acquainted with the college and get to know us, as we got to know them as well as their families. Incredible group of people all the way around. But it's hitting me now that they're not going to be back here next fall, and I won't get to see their parents and enjoy being around them, either.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #190: Springing Forward

Ugh. 2 of the 3 bosses called in sick today. It was a bit hectic at the main building. The newest one of the three had to run the show. He's able to, but he hasn't quite refined the nuances to really make the flow of orders/etc streamlined; not his fault, it takes a while to learn the little tricks, which you can only learn with time. Unfortunately, that lack of experience added another hour or so to the day.

And found out one of our carriers refuses to deliver to the Amazon facility here. Apparently, Amazon takes their sweet time in unloading the product, doesn't allow the carrier to unload, and it's a total PITA. While we do make a good amount of money from their account, they do chap my hide a bit with the way they order stuff from us.

mookie: do you have a chance to make it back for F4 next year? First round is on me.

And ugh. Found out Total Wine got their license (2nd try) in my city. And they will buy and close two local liquor stores. Thankfully, my main store is not one of them. But one of the stores is my backup for the good stuff. I'm so not happy right now.

Good Evening, Lodge!

A place accepted our offer! Now to get the ball rolling. First stop, inspector. That is setup for Tuesday. For the locals, still in Eagan. About 2 miles away from where we currently live or just on the other side of 35E from Ansari's.
