Back stateside. Very enjoyable cruise, even booked 2 for next January. Now I get to fly to Houston to take a class all week, ugh.

Fun day today. Even saw an old-school bartender from back in the day, good times. Even as a Packer-hater, the game sucked. Was hoping for a good game. Nope. Half the crowd ended up more interested in the cricket game showing on one of the tvs. We were trying to figure out what was going on....

Good morning Lodge. Weird weather day. I had an 8am PT appointment, it was mild and the sun was out (though cloudy). Was that way all during the walk to the office. Got to my desk, put my stuff down, grabbed some money to head to the caf to get a bagel, looked out he window, it's snowing. Right now it appears to be raining. We're supposed to get a crazy nor'easter later today into tonight but the temp is high enough, at least here on the coast, that it should be rain. And crazy wind. I hope it's done early enough tomorrow to not affect my drive to Merrimack for the BU game. I hate when weather is a factor in my game attendance.

Would have been nice if the weather would have cooperated in Houghton. Effing rain and warm weather...what the hell. Got in 130 miles, but was hoping to make a trip to Copper Harbor, but we didn't try because the trails were rough (can't groom if it is above freezing) and we didn't want to be in Copper Harbor when the rain started, facing a 60 mile ride through rain back to Houghton. Oh well, hopefully it gets cold again, and starts snowing in the next month before my next trip.

We have had snow flying since about 8AM. Nothing is supposed to be happening right now and we have a few inches on the grass and cold areas. wheee!

We are getting that now. Definitely too warm for snow, but the wind at times is very strong.
