Denver beats Omaha 3-0. Senior Evan Cowley with the shutout, Denver's second of the season, but first individual effort as the other was a combined effort. Denver beats Omaha for the tenth straight time. Denver ends the regular season on an 11 game winning streak and swept its last five series. The Pios are 14-2 in calendar 2017. Borgstrom with two goals each night this weekend. Denver is 18-0-1 when scoring the first goal and has outscored its opponents 48-17 in the eleven game streak. CC next week in the NCHC playoffs.

On the positive UAA front the Women's Basketball team won their 3rd straight conference championship and are undefeated against D-II teams (they lost two games to D-I teams at the Great Alaska Shootout). Barring NCAA shenanigans they should host the West Region tournament.

UNO had one job! One job! DU had nothing to play for. Now I'm punching holes in the wall.

Save the walls. I don't have a lot of faith for UND to win 4 in a row, which they would need to do or win 4 of 5 to get past SCSU. Of course, maybe they will. ;)

25 and sunny is perfect weather. Still comfortable up to about 60, but after that. **** this, I'm going north.

You'd probably love Reykjavik. Rarely gets below zero because of the North Atlantic current, and almost never hits 70 in the summer.

Also, it is a sprawling city. Outside the city center the houses are spaced very far apart.

Morning. Yay insomnia. Standard Sunday on tap: church and a couple movies.

I still have my Cubs-No Faith in anything. They won the World Series and I am still in disbelief. I really don't think SCSU has a chance.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Looking at another townhouse today.

Red Sox trained me to this young. UML Hockey finished the job. Can't get out of underdog thinking. Both have now won the big thing a couple of times and I still wait to see what happens.

Good Morning Lodge!

Good Morning Lodge.

One of the bad signs of spring - the geese are back on the pond, honking away in the early morning.

That sounds amazing. As long as the island doesn't explode in some kind of volcanic hellfire.

Well, yeah there is that. At least you can rest assured that you have absolutely nowhere to go if it happens. No use spending any money preparing for it.

Grab a bottle or a sixer, and a glove, and yell "I GOT IT COVERED!" I mean, at least make it a fun death.

Good Morning, MEUSA! :)

Good Morning to the rest of tLodge! :)

I posted a while ago that I had a good idea for a new pole. I am retracting that comment.

FYI for those in the cities, 94 is shut down in both directions near the lyndale tunnel.
