Then the plane crash in Melbourne that's in the news was with guys who are in a golf society that Mookie belongs to. He knows (knew) 2 of them. What is worse (if possible) is he also met the wife of one. This was a couples trip and the guys went golfing while the women went shopping. So now the women are there having to ship everything home. Just horrible.

Wednesday is Make Your Own Sundae Wednesday here in our office. I used to have a recurring meeting in my calendar to remind me. Deleted that a while back as I really don't need weekly ice cream sundaes. :p Anyway, since the start of the year, I've remembered to go down to the cafeteria three times. Each time they've had vanilla and strawberry ice cream. Who the heck eats strawberry ice cream so much that it's in the regular rotation??? Should always have vanilla and chocolate. I think it's the universe's way of telling me I should not be eating ice cream during the day at work.

Its been a good week! Tax Return already came back and got an escrow check on top of that.

I might super size that combo meal at Wendy's next time. :D

Gotta go to Houghton for work. Judging a weeklong engineering competition as a representative from my company. Will get to see one game, but have to present an award during the award ceremony, which is right smack dab in the middle of Saturday's game. Overall, kinda wish it didn't infringe on my weekend so I could just go home.

Nope! Shaws is evil. He actively campaigned not to fund the schools. His ice cream no longer passes by my lips. :mad:

Never liked them but still hold a grudge from when the Boston Globe mistakenly published an article detailing how they were great and beat us the morning of the Game. We shellacked them. One of the best wins evah!!

No snow here. Went from a predicted 6"-8" (last night) to dusting-1" (tonight). Maybe. I'm laughing.

Went with the girlfriend today to look at the apartment we're getting. Didn't sign anything yet, but really liking what they've done with the place. The unit is getting a full remodeling, replacing the drywall, cabinets, shower tub, windows, and carpet. getting to be worth the wait for this. Looked at some dining room sets today and I bought this bench storage deal for the apartment as well. Hopefully in another week they'll have everything finished and we can sign on the dotted line and move in.
