Good morning Lodge. It's Tuesday, which is probably why when I checked my work email this morning I had two emails from my manager with "where are with this?" I answered her, and while part of me feels she sends these emails because its front of mind with her so she just sends an email when she thinks of something, it annoys me that she sends them when I'm technically on vacation.

I changed my flight and am heading home tonight but still taking tomorrow off. Not because of that, but because there isn't a need for me to stay here. :)

Just drove by Bethpage. Today has been rainy and ****ty all day. Had a fun 3 hour commute into Manhattan this morning.

Was the LIE tied up? That seems pretty normal especially considering all the rain that my brother mentioned to me. :)

Yep. We sat on it for like 3 hours this morning. It really wasn't a problem, since we planned for it. Still seems silly to sit in traffic to be able to see a customer installation for 45 minutes.

We have a chili cook-off scheduled in the office today. Sadly, nobody thought to bring a wooden spoon. :(

My mom kept a wooden spoon with a broken handle with her good wooden cooking utensils. She would say it's what happened when my brothers were little and didn't listen to her. :D

My mother thought wooden spoons were unsanitary. She had a slotted metal spoon. It doubled as a punishment utensil. The slots provided less air resistance when being swung
