French toast, fruit and bacon. OJ and coffee via French press.

Cripes we have been on a nice run for weather. However, I think today I will be winterizing the RV.

I'm not nessecarily against this nice weather we are having but it's not conducive for ice fishing. My gear is ready to go!

Heading to sccc later today as our high school plays in the first round of the football state tourney. It's going to take a miracle to get a win.

Bought the stuff to winterize the boat and put the stabilizer in the gas. Tomorrow Jr and I will do the rest of it. Today is leaf chopping day.

First live game of the season. Made it from Norfolk, VA to Troy in 8.5 hours, hardly any traffic the whole way up from Tampa. Waze and a radar detector do wonders for the mph average ;)

Beer tasting was awesome. As a group (about 20 of us) we drank about $1000 worth of beer.* Met some awesome people.

*Probably had $3000 worth of beer (secondary market value) at the event, didn't crack half of it. Avg retail cost of beer was about $25-30/bottle, 25oz bottles. One particular bottle cost the guy $360 (2004 Dark Lord from Three Floyds in IN)

21st Centry First World Problems: My NCHC streaming subscription allows me to watch SCSU play @ CC this weekend in HD, but video has the radio broadcast as its audio rather than a TV announcer. The radio guy's voice has a lot of distortion and the commercials are even worse.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #188: Hockey Is The Real Politics

Ho-hum HHT. it was just the ninth straight win in Colorado Springs for SCSU.

Last night's game took almost 3 hours to play. Tonight's game finished in just over 2 hours. The refs were crazy last night, probably making calls for the reffing scouts watching on TV.

Mornin', Lodge. The usual churchin' today, but have to cut it a little short, and head over to the family's for my dad's b-day. I really, really, really hope no one brings up any sort of politics (he's as liberal as Bill Belichick is smug).
