On my way to Michigan for some hockey. I think I need this trip. I yelled at my mother last night because she told me she voted for Trump. Because Hillary was mean to him towards the end of the campaign. I hung up after the call and cried. Hoping to take a break from all of this nonsense for a few days.

With you. Because of what I do I have people, who were fragile before this, asking my help to figure out how to deal with what they consider to be a complete dismantling of what they knew to be true*. I got nothing in the tank.

*Obviously there are enough people who didn't believe that 'truth' but this doesn't negate the depth of their feeling.

Won the Engineering chili cookoff today. Best batch I've ever made. Very tasty.
 
So apparently the wine cooler with drawers for beer in our office was inadequate. So one of guys has been working on a refrigerator to turn it into a keggerator and it will be tested today at the weekly happy hour starting in a few minutes. Have I mentioned how happy I have been with this latest career move?

Well, nice to see you all at the *HT. Mark is the only one at the HHT so he could just leave and we could hang out here in our PJs instead of having to go anywhere.

I come home from the arena to find a 62 degree house...and no heat. It's going to be 28 tonight. This is going to be fun.

Late game out west (CC), so there's still 4:53 left in the 2nd. Up 5-1, but there's no flow in the game. 38 PIM combined in the 1st alone. Add another 8 so far in the 2nd. SCSU has 4 PPG and 1 SHG.

CC is horrible.

Denver-NoDak played to a 1-1 tie. NoDak scores in the 3 on 3 OT to earn the extra point in the standings.

No hockey for my team, have an event tomorrow afternoon, needed to run errands tonight for said event. Then just watched a movie and chilled. Not "chilled," just chilled. ;)
