The biggest thing directly in front of me now is upgrading the antenna in my rafters.

Having been a member of this board for more than 16 years, I feel somewhat stupid asking this question, but what does subscribing to a thread mean? What does it do for me as a poster? Why should I do it?

When you subscribe to thread you can go to user cp (settings) and it will list if there are new posts on the thread. You click the carrot to the left of the titel and it brings you to the first post you haven't read. I rarely go to the list of new posts anymore. This is way faster. If you are on phone it won't let you go to the last post you read but it is still faster. You don't need to scroll to see if you missed something.

Heading to Lehigh to watch Lil run in a HUGE meet this weekend. Staying in Bethlehem ofr one whole night. Supposed to rain cats, dogs and other small objects. Should be interesting and mud pics are always awesome.

Last time I chose desk top version and it didn't do that. It has been unsubscribing me when I was only using my laptop :confused: It seems to like me now.

This is what I do. It seems just as fast. I can't get settings on my home laptop as it's stuck in mobile format and when I use my iPad or phone, if the thread is bold, it means there are new posts since I last looked and when I click on it, it takes me to the first new post. Seems like extra added work to have to subscribe to a thread, then click on Settings to see if there are new posts in that thread, when you just go to the Community the threads are in and click on the carrot.

I have a tab on my laptop. Click that it pops to the UserCP, click on thread I want. Just click the tab for User CP every time I am done new thread. What's left pops up.

I agree. It seems like more work than it is worth.

That's why I don't subscribe to anything. Click on arrow to get to the newest post you haven't read, or click on title to get to newest post overall. *shrug*

Getting a bit chilly these last couple of nights. Fall is certainly setting in.

I am too lazy to scroll to find what I am interested in and if I do scroll, I am interested in too many things. Could spend all day.
