HHT!
Missed all but the 3rd period because I had to drive thru the monsoon to get here. Flooding, lightning, woof!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

HHT for game one of my birthday weekend!! Hope they saved some goals for tomorrow!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

Work systems exploded due to changes implemented last weekend. 50 hours of not getting anything I have to get done done. Trying to put out fires was 100% of it.

A little perspective: I'm in charge of what's called the cycle reject report. It's a list of transactions that failed in the overnight cycle. It is usually a little less than a page, and a page holds about 25 transactions.

30-40 pages. All week. More changes are processing this weekend. I'm so glad.

Smalley's was good. Won't say great, but solid. Nice rum list.

Was more impressed with Stillwater's little restaurant/entertainment district. Wish we had more time/energy to explore, but we didn't get up here till almost 8:00.

Looks like a cool little town and may need to be explored in more detail.

We're back up for hockey in early December and just across the river in Somerset and New Richmond, so likely that we'll hit that town again.

Staying in lovely Coon Rapids. Off to an 8:00am lacrosse game in Blaine.

Likely the last such tourney that we attend as the boy is a senior. Soaking it up.

Check out 45th Parallel in New Richmond. They have some decent spirits, although not much of a tour (it's a pole barn, basically). Glad you enjoyed Stillwater. It's a nice little town, and you're hitting it at the right times. In summer, it's traffic chaos because of all the tourists.

I hear ya, but it was even decently busy last night. Vibrant night life for sure.

*HT. Lots of good words said about the UML team by the Saints fan base after.
:) theSaints kept marching on. Man they come at you hard and keep coming right to the end. (Did they have good words about our D that likes to pass across in front of the net? Someone must like that and it isn't me!)

Ugh. That does not sound fun. You need a chocolate milk.

Only Woof? So it wasn't raining cats and dogs, just dogs? ;)
Dogs, cats, other large animals. I knew it was bad from driving thru it but watching the news with vid clips was really impressive. Lots of crazy flooding.

Good Morning Lodge!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

Good morning Lodge. Treating myself to breakfast this morning. Asked for one egg scrambled, waitress brings me food and says "This came from a really big chicken! Ha! Enough eggs for two. Unexpected birthday surprise. Now off to the dentist. Because that's where I want to spend time this morning. Blech.

Things along the lines of very fast, talented, plays the right way... An example of where we'd like ourselves to get to. I didn't watch or listen due to work schedule, but sounded like we didn't give our best effort. Good luck the rest of the way!
