Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #187: Lazy End Days Of Summer

Checking in. Have been overworked and overwhelmed the last few weeks. Have 4 days off (including the hub's birthday). Running a 5K on Sunday with free beer, lobster rolls, and chowder afterward.

Hang in there. Almost there!! Having a re-entry into the world that is not Primary Care. The stimulus level is ridiculous. (also read something the other day about alarm fatigue that hit home and I can't be hearing the level of alarms that you are!) You need to go into a sensory tank when you are done.

Good Morning Lodge!

Good Morning, Lodge!

This week has been hell. I love being taken off then being added back on projects due to the fact that I was not following branding guidelines. It is hard to follow the guidelines where there are no guidelines provided. Get the guidelines and they are mostly outdated. My manager knew that we didn't have guidelines and made me look horrible. Then my manager is trying to defend me, but doing a really lousy job. The director of marketing is still an idiot when I asked them about getting an updated version of the branding guidelines.

Have you paid your bribe to get to the gate?

Good Morning Lodge!

Good Morning, Lodge!

My manager and I duked it out yesterday morning. They do not like confrontation, but how am I supposed to do my job when I do not know what I am doing wrong. I threw things back at them. They would have preferred this to take place Monday. They thought it would ruin my weekend. I would rather have it on Friday so I have the weekend to cool off and not having to go into the Lion's Den for the remainder of the week. /rant

Good Morning Lodge.

Gotta run some errands this AM then Mrs and I want to go to the Minnesota Arboretum. Not sure we can fit everything in today. Planning to work tomorrow to get my presentation ready and help with getting the building ready for our Open House.

Afternoon.

After about 9 days straight of rain, finally was able to get out and mow our lawn. It sucked as much as you'd think it would after 2 weeks of growth and watering.
