Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #186: Summer Heat

Good morning Lodge.

Congrats on the job goldy.

I'm on vacation this week.

The boys and I plan on watching (the originals) Frankenstein, The Bride of Frankenstein, the Mummy and Dracula this week. We watched The Wolf Man last night.

Breakfast burritos have been served for breakfast.

I had some weird sort of creature feature nightmare last night, more along the lines of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers, which is especially weird since I've never seen that movie. It freaked me out enough to the point where I woke up around 3:30AM and took a while to fall back asleep. I hate when crap like that happens.

That movie scared the doo doo out of me when I saw it as a teen. I can't remember the story line but it still creeps me out to think of it.

Good Morning Lodge!

Woke up with a migraine :( It has been a long time since I had one. I do not like it.

When one is emailing to ask you to send them free stuff, shouldn't one tell you where free stuff should be sent to?

Good Morning Lodge from the new office.

This place is reaaallly nice. Still being worked on, but still very nice and great bennies. Unfortunately, they seem to subsidize the soda and candy machines. Could be real problem if I don't control it. Candy is $.50 and soda/pop is $.25. Looks like I have to go lunch by myself today though as everyone is busy today.

One of our lead developers gets me on the phone, and we're trying to troubleshoot a messaging issue between applications. After checking the first few simple things, she starts reading some of the code, and the whole time she's commenting aloud. It turns out, the developers who made this particular application had their heads so far up their collective ***es that she felt compelled to detail it during the reading. :D

Big fan of the old school classic horror movies!

So, remember when I mentioned that #1 Boss is resigning, effective mid-Sept? Well, #3 Boss just resigned, effective early Sept. #2 Boss (DHead Boss) is at corporate HQ today through Wed......

Um......sh*'s going down. With #3 leaving, my co-worker and I are almost tin-foiling it, thinking "forced resignations" so the resumes won't be affected. However, with #2 not being touched (as of right now), still unlikely. DHB might be a micromanager, but he's not a back-stabber. I can say that much without a doubt.

No idea what is going down, what will go down, etc. It's CYA for my co-worker and I. Again, very thankful we are doing our jobs, not really involved with the main building. We can rely on our performance, and record; since we are pretty much solely responsible for what we do, that's a good thing.

Good Morning Lodge.

Changed my route a bit this morning. It took just under 10 minutes to drive less than 3.5 miles to my office. My MPG sucks, but who cares? Gonna bike it Thursday.

Hi.

Boss is in the office early today. Micromanagement has already started. Productivity is shot. This is going to be a loooong day.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #186: Summer Heat

Have my first 1:1 with my boss in over a month. She's on a tear about merchandise inventory and even though I've put plans into place and received info, she still seems to go around me to get answers. It's not a quick and easy answer. I hate when she gets like this. Though, I could be reading her wrong. My anxiety stems from the fact that I'm out Thursday/Friday this week, traveling Thursday-Wednesday starting next week, in the office for 2 days and then on vacation for a week. She wants answers to stupid things too quickly and then I can't do my regular work. I need to stop venting.
