Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #184: The 2016 Frozen Four

The last hour at the office went straight to **** in a hurry. Oh well. I got to play on my new mower for an hour and made the yard look good. One less thing to do this weekend.

Evening.

Met up with a buddy after work at a local eatery that specializes in subs (Big Ten for the locals, Hopkins location) then walked on down to a brewery nearby (LTD) for a pint and to refill my growler with their Orange Peel Saison, SPECIFICALLY to drink on Sunday. Supposed to be 85 or so. Plan: sit on patio, read a book/surf the internet, listen to the Twins game, and sip this wonderful brew.

Tomorrow a buddy has a pig roast/annual Spring Party (he now owns 10 acres in the middle of nowhere, just east of the bbdl residence). Should be a good time.

East? :p

WPOS's place is north and west of mine.

See? This is proof I suck at directions. Absolutely no sense when it comes to that. Hence why I use landmarks when I drive.

Edit: although I kinda knew it was north of you.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #184: The 2016 Frozen Four

His place is nearly straight north from my parents' place in Coon Rapids. Dl's is north and east from my parents. I'm sure it helps being from that general area. I did a lot of exploring back in the day with my friends. You know, before everyone just sat on their couch and played online video games and chatted with their friends through headsets.

Good morning to tLodge! ;)
Morning, Mark! :)
Morning, Ralph! :)

Came into work tonight with a plan to get some personal stuff done. Naturally this is the first time I've sat all night and now I have to chart. *sigh* Should have known better than to bring stuff to do.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Doing another Norwex vendor show today. Trying not to over exert myself. Next week is going to be hell at work. We are down to 3 people as one is on vacation until the middle of next week. We have 2 huge orders that have to go out next week on top of everything else we have. I am preparing to have the shortest day next week, Monday, be only a 9 hour day.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #184: The 2016 Frozen Four

Well, this long day should be interesting, given I only got 5 hours of sleep or so.

Triple Monster day, here I come!

And it's Preakness day! Although the field doesn't really excite me. Probably going to be a boring race. *lesigh* Hope I'm wrong.

Lester's Text Editing Lesson #1: Changing text color :)

Changing the color of text using the simple editor provided when using the Quick Reply (normal) function:

1) Select the text you want to change by using the left-click button on your mouse, place it at one end of the text (word, phrase, sentence, etc.).
2) While continuing to hold down the left-click button, drag you mouse over the text you want to change.
3) After that, release the left-click mouse button.
4) Now left-click on the letter A you see in the text editor just above the window in which you're typing. A drop box will appear with the standard color choices available.
5) Left-click your color choice. Done.

You've missed a bunch of steps.

1. look for wall socket
2. is there any cords plugged into it?
... etc.

I've written far too many procedures in my life. It doesn't matter how seemingly simple and intuitive the step, if you don't include it people will miss it, get frustrated, and start complaining.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #184: The 2016 Frozen Four

My daughter has jury duty next week so we took the train to downtown St. Paul this morning to ensure she knew where to go and how to pay for tickets.
Added bonus was breakfast at Key's Cafe. :)

She also got a part time job at Grande 'Ole Creamery!!! They have some of the best ice cream in the Twin Cities and she can bring home a free pint every time she works. I LOVE this job!!!!
