Hockey tournament weekend, my team is 1-0-1 with the third game to take place in about three hours. We've only had three and four on the bench when the other teams have had full lines to shift. I'm not expecting big results for tonight's game or tomorrow's.

Nope. All I can think of is ticks in bad places. I hate ticks. Go out in wellingtons, long sleeves, bug spray....

Ticks are just everyday life in a MN summer. I'm more bothered by gnats. Those little *ers can burn in hell.

So yeah, my late game didn't go well at all. There were three injuries with each person not returning to the game. I was one of those three, and I'm worried that I will be getting shoulder surgery once again. A guy on the other team hooked his right skate inside of mine, unintentionally, turned to his right, flipping me in a way that I can't accurately describe, and I landed square on my left shoulder. It's the same should I had surgery on three years ago. Now I can't move my arm forward, and it hurts while at rest. Fun night.

Morning, Lodge. Lazy day, gonna hit up a local taproom (LTD in Hopkins for the locals). Special release of a pale ale, called Sunday Sales, in support of the attempt to allow liquor stores to allow Sunday sales. Rumor is only 500 bottles will be for sale. Plan is to hook up a buddy with a bottle (he's stuck in Grand Forks this weekend). If I can get an extra bottle, then yay me.

Is Minnesota dry on Sundays? Or at least in terms of liquor stores?

Liquor stores are closed. You can buy growlers and such from breweries and taprooms tough.
