Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #184: The 2016 Frozen Four
So, my realtor guy submitted my offer to seller's realtor guy. Was told it was too low. I thought, as my realtor guy thought, the asking price was way too high for what it was. I had told my realtor guy that was willing to go up a bit, but I wasn't going to pay the asking price. My realtor guy called me on the way home that seller's realtor guy thought it was too low, that it was priced fairly blah blah blah. My realtor guy said he thought seller's realtor guy was a bit arrogant about it. Regardless, he has to present to the seller.
Then, my friend in the building, who texted me yesterday morning to tell me that her friend had put this place on the market, calls me. I had just texted her that the offer went out. She tells me seller friend texted her earlier today to tell her she is not sure she wants to sell. My friend texted her back to tell her if that's the case, she needs to let me know because I'm moving forward. She never heard from seller friend. She called to tell me she felt weird, didn't really want to get between the two of us, etc. but didn't want me to to get screwed over. Which I appreciate. My friend thinks seller friend's boyfriend is kinda shady and maybe something weird is going on there. Hmmm. I told her to let me know if seller friend ever texts back.
So, I guess it's over for now. I'm assuming seller's realtor guy still has to present the offer but will probably convince her not to take it. Which is fine. I'm considering this 95% closed.
