Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #183: The Final Approach To Off-Season

Most ridiculous NCAA hockey scenario in a long time. THREE shorties on the same major. How?

When SCSU gets control of the puck while short handed they'll try to sneak a forward up on the backside, usually just ends up harassing the defenseman who re-establishes the forecheck. This time they sprung Russell and Kosilla with stretch passes that connected for breakaway goals on back-to-back plays for SHGs 2 and 3. The first SHG was SCSU catching CC on a bad change, turned it into a three-on-two with Prow feeding Jackson for a wide open shot. It helps that CC's goalie was playing his first game of the season tonight.

*HT, but also HHT (the women beat UND, face Red Menace tomorrow).

Great night tonight. Had some good beer, better food, and outstanding rum.

CC to Gurt: Pusser 15YO? Wow. Love. Sipped it neat at first, dropped a couple drops of water in, and even better.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #183: The Final Approach To Off-Season

Well I suppose I should be at the *HT but I'm not. I'm not at the HHT or the Tie Dye Sushi Bar either. The "Relieved It's *ing Over" Table? Wait, the RI*OT? Yeah I'm at the RI*OT.

Watching UAA right now is like watching a loved one struggle with addiction. They need to quit making excuses and change but they won't do it until they hit rock bottom. And you're just hoping they figure this out before they die.

I keep thinking UAA has hit rock bottom and then just soldier on and plow deeper. I'm hoping getting swept by UAF to lose the Governor's Cup for the 7th straight year and have their season ended again will be what kicks off an attitude change in the program. But I'm probably wrong.

I'm posting ponies anyway.

The rest of the UAA posters won't show it, because they're buried eyeball deep in losing culture mentality, but a lot of UAA fans I know didn't want to win tonight and prolong our misery nor felt this UAA deserved to be in the playoffs.

I'm hoping this is the moment the players and coaches have that moment of clarity and say "I'm *ing tired of this losing *, let's get to work!"

Wisconsin is an alcoholic 20 something who's missed a few days of work, with an enabling fat uncle, and needs AA.

UAA is a heroin addicted hooker who needs detox and years of therapy.

If you've been keeping up with recent comments from the higher-ups...WI is in a lot more trouble, considering their history. They SHOULD be in at least the upper tier (not necessarily powerhouse). Not even close. *Yawn*. That bad. Like, they went from MI/MN to 2000s Tech just like that.

I've kept up with it. There's even a bit schadenfreude from it. The difference is they'll finally get rid of Eaves and be back in like 3-4 years. UAA? I don't know at this point.

Well, get to face our arch rival next weekend. Ugh. Cluck Farkson.
I cannot here Clarkson without thinking "they still suck". In honor of not offending Scarlet I will refrain from saying anything about our next opponent.
