Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #183: The Final Approach To Off-Season

Morning, Lodge!

Was at RumFest 2016 last night (a GP get-together). About a dozen people, there were about 8-9 bottles of rum to sample and compare (most contributed a bottle to the cause). Very fun. Lots of hockey watched. Saw wT multiple times on tv, and apparently Yager made the tv during the {PROVICED game in his MTU jersey. :D

Heading to church to watch the SCSU game/Wild game this afternoon as I really don't want to shell out $50 for a ticket/parking to watch 2 teams I don't care about. ;)

My wife was just perusing our AmEx bill this morning and may have suggested YE and I spent too much money the weekend of the HS hockey tourney. So I'm out for the regional. :)

We're having some family over tomorrow for Easter so we have a lot to do. For the record, no ham. We're making lasagna :)

This is why you have separate accounts. ;)

Mr will be dropping off DL, HBK, and myself in St. Paul. I'll be sure to yell out to GE so he can hear me from his couch. :D

D1 is starting to sound like a Trump rally. Yup, it's tournament time.

I'd definitely be going if it were even reasonable to get in the door and if I knew the atmosphere wouldn't be terrible.

Yep. Between last week's expenditures for the B1G tourney (and related beer-buys from friends*) and last night's RumFest, just not in the financial cards. Of course, free food at church due to the rewards program also helps.

*Viking and GFG from GPL hooked me up with some rare and/or out-of-state beers I couldn't get here.

Doing hockey now.

Just amused at myself as to how much I enjoy watching college lacrosse these days as I was right there with the rest of you yelling at my TV and cursing the sport that one day as ot followed ot and timeout followed timeout.

I remember that frustrating night. When was that? 2008?

Sounds about right as I know I was in my old house.

I don't think my kid had started playing lacrosse yet either.

Interesting goings on in St. Paul...

Have a friend that kept referring to Jesus as the first zombie on Facebook. After the fourth time I just had to let her know that he created a zombie in Lazarus, so there's just no way he was first.

The dude manning the Ferris State penalty box at The X is rocking the Chester A. Arthur look!
