I'm giving up the fight with this one poster so instead of risking fake-insulting him any more, I want to put him on ignore so I don't have to read any more of his posts. I can't figure out how to so that. Have they disabled that feature?

You know... I'd be happy for SCSU fans if you guys were to win a title.

That said, He is the whiniest little ***** on the D1 side and the personification of the Jan label that you guys get - whether you deserve it or not.

I will pile on him if SCSU loses.
Oh no, not that! Anything but that!

Settings->Edit Ignore List->Fill in the box that appears on the page, about halfway down.

Pro tip:

They have additional fast passes that can be used at anytime on any ride. If you politely hem and haw about how the current system may not work for you, you may be able to get some.

We went up to Blue Springs State park on a non park day.

Iirc, it was about an hour north of Orlando. Lots of manatees as they winter in the spring area.

Not sure if they are still there this late in the winter/spring, but if they are, it was cool.

Good afternoon Lodge.

Thanks. We will meet with guest services and plead our case for anything that will make the waiting be less. The longer waits truly do impact little g.

Was able to see the rocket launch last night ( so that's what the Minnesotans vacationing in Florida are calling it it these days).

We took in a spring training baseball game today. We watched the 2016 World Series championship Minnesota Twins. They lost to the Rays and most of their players are still in Cuba.

Disney tomorrow. Friday Saturday and Sunday are free days for now.

They are incredibly accommodating at Disney re: waiting in line. They also have low intensity areas for kids/people who need a break from the hustle bustle - referred to as 5 places to recharge: PeopleMover in Tomorrowland,Carousel of Progress, Hall of Presidents -on Main Street USA. I find that I can get overstimulated and stressed out by the combo of the heat, noise, and people at Disney, so these are places to refresh/calm down.
I'm so excited about Universal. I haven't been since 2002. We were planning to go Sunday, but now I'm considering getting the 2 day pass and going both Friday and Sunday.
I Googled it, Incline Public House. I love chicken and waffles, but these are spicy, so I probably can't have them. :( stupid allergies. I'm going to see if I can convince the group to go to Montgomery Inn for a nice meal Saturday.

As far as the roller coaster conversation, Cedar Point is amazing. I haven't been there in awhile, and am fearful that at my current size I wouldn't fit in many of the coasters, they were an uncomfortable fit 30 pounds ago. I'm worried about that too at Universal, but hopefully we'll still have fun.

I still remember my first coaster. The Rebel Yell at King's Dominion. I was probably just tall enough to ride (maybe 8 years old). My 12 year old brother was too scared. I sat next to my mom and it was terrifying. Single lap bar, my mom was 200+ lbs, and I was at the very bottom of the height/weight chart for my age. I thought I was going to fly out of that thing. I held onto that lap bar for dear life.
We haven't been since '09 or '10, but the Hogarts ride at Islands of Adventure has oversize seating. Near the end of the queue is a test chair to sit in and if you aren't comfortable/safe, there is a Cast Member (or whatever the Universal equivalent is) that will direct you to the line where you can select one of the oversized seat. The husband found the oversized seat more comfortable. There are also 2 rows on the (former) Dueling Dragons coaster (I believe third row and one other row) that contain a larger seat as well. tHubs is generously sized, so we're pretty familiar with oversized stuff. The other rides are lapbars. (We haven't ridden the Rock n' Rollercoaster in Universal Studios, so I don't have insight to that).

Of course you realize that This Means War!! Bring forth the Ponies of War!!!
Man I am sorry. GVSU ran up against a juggernaut in the Lady Seawolves. Saw a lot of games like that this season.

Never thought I'd see any Seawolf team play for a National Championship.

Said the same thing about the Lady Huskies in 2011 (the year hockey finally got serious about hiring a real coach ;)).

To War!

Crappy thing is I can't watch the game because CBS Sports Network isn't available on our cable TV and it'll be Wednesday and I'm out of money to go somewhere.
Heck, I lucked out and found the game while I was at the gym tonight and ended up putting in about double the miles in tonight just to watch the game. Kinda took me back to 2006 when I lucked out with going with the Pep band to Hot Springs for GVSU's run to the championship in Hot Springs. That was a fun trip there, I distinctly remember watching the end of the infamous Holy Cross win against Minnesota in Grand Forks with some St. Cloud fans there and we're all having a good chuckle about that.

Yeah, they just seemed flat tonight. Thought they mentioned that they had a really tough game with the Gorilla's of Pittsburg State. And it would have helped if they could have hit some more 3's tonight. That and I'm just not a fan of multi line floors. It looks too busy and I think it throws the shooters off by shooting from further out.

Having to play against UAA's uptempo defense on short notice was probably a big factor too. But I thought the floor was pretty bad too, the design on it was way too busy and confusing.

Kinda sucks the championship game isn't until the 4th. I think it gives Lubbock Christian too much time to prepare.
