Good morning everyone from slimy 978 land. 70 at AM with horrible humidity. UGH

Morning.

Decided to get a couple SAS certifications in September. I've always been too lazy to actually go take the exams and pay the fee.

Looking at the sample exams it's all things I know. So I should be able to pass.

Back to classes today.. Quite possibly the last time I'll have a first day of school ever. Crazy.

Good Morning Lodge (it's still morning here so shut up).

Had planned to drive up the mountain today (Haleakala) but the whole island is socked in and raining. Glad we got the luau in last night before the rain. Good time and great food. They gave us each a mini loaf of banana bread as we left - sooo good. I'm about done with mine. Mrs and Jr went back to sleep, but I figure I may as well start the time shift now, or not make it any worse.

A new hotel is being built a few blocks from where I live, and there will be a fire station on the ground floor. http://www.swtlqtc.com/2015/08/sneak-peek-inside-hyatt-place.html It says that the traffic lights will be synchronized so that the fire engines won't have to blare their horns. Fire engines always blare their horns! This could be noisier than the planes which Scarlet flies in. :)

They won't blare them after midnight, while you're awake, and then turn them up extra loud around noon, while you're crashed out on the couch.

So did you eat their banana bread, too? :D

I was referring to the people in the hotel in the same building directly over the firehouse, not to me. It won't have any effect on me since the firehouse is moving about one block, and it may not be the closest firehouse to me anyway.
