Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

Good Morning Lodge.

Who is? Are you? Is mookie? Is that a poll choice?

I was just going to ask the same thing. :D

Prepping for Houghton today. Getting an oil change and washing the Jeep, making her all nice and pretty for the trip, packing, etc. The one downside of the trip is that I'm picking up a buddy in the inner metro, during rush hour, before fighting more rush hour to get to the WI border. I dislike rush hour. A LOT.

It's not that bad of a movie...

Hardy har har. It doesn't help that 3-4 major highways in the metro are either under major construction or closed. MNDOT has its head up its arse this year, more than normal.

Damm, I hate it when I come home from a bike ride to find out the water has been shut off. Why did they decide to save money 50 years ago by not installing individually shutoff valves to each unit????>

When this happens do you just pee out a window?!?

Figures the car wash breaks when it's my turn to get the Jeep washed. And for whatever reason, the code is only good at that location (Holiday gas station). Le sigh. At least it's good for 30 days.

The water is on in my condo now. :D

a) Are you still here?
b) Why do you get the car washed BEFORE a road trip?????

Leave tomorrow morning, pretty darn close to dawn.
Because I am dropping the top, and don't want all that dirt/etc to get ground into the vinyl.

Kudos to my apt mgmt. Called in to repair my dead A/C (fried last weekend after the power outage). Figured they come by tomorrow or something. Nope. 20 minutes later, including an A/C that has a remote with LCD display. That's a win.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

Heh. My new A/C has a temp read-out. Apparently, my comfort level is about 80-83. So to all those who have visited in the past, yes, fine, I agree, that's a little warm. ;)

I cooled 'er down to 78. Nice and chilly.
