Morning.

Cleaning up the apt this am for our guest arrival. Then on to being lazy. Because that freedom was hard won.

A completely free long weekend with no plans or obligations is pretty dang nice.

I'm nerding out with the heritage thing again. Not so much exactly who I am related to, just the family names on the Scottish side. Pretty easy to do with those, they've kept good records on most clans. Especially big ones like McBain and Morrison.

Scottish records are the best. I have ancestry international if need anything. Have you found Scotland's People site yet. That is great fun.

Race Day! Might meet up with the in-laws for lunch. It depends on how I feel with this cold. Better, but now it when from my head to my lungs.

The rain mostly held off last night for the get-together, thankfully. Had a good time hanging out. Ended up going a little later than we all expected, but that's what happens when you're having fun. Looks like rain all day, today, though.

Bored. Going to check out some breweries we haven't visited yet this afternoon. Thinking: Bauhaus, Dangerous Man, Boom Island, maybe some others if we have time.
