So you're in charge of Sloe Gin's plane? Can we get transcripts of what is said when he gets mad at you?

You're not reading between the lines. What MNS just posted was all sexual innuendo. I'll say no more.

Good evening Lodge.

So much for no plans or obligations... ;)

I don't consider impromptu visits to brewpubs to be plans or obligations. It is more of a luxury of not having plans.

The plan was Bauhaus-Dangerous Man-Boom Island. Luckygirl (from GPL) wanted to meet up, luckily she checked and found that Bauhaus and Dangerous Man are closed Sundays (what the **** is up with that ****?). Ended up meeting up at NorthGate Brewing for a few beers, then moved on to Sociable Cider Werks, and met up with State of Hockey and Vera. Got some food at a good restaurant in Nordeast, and finished up at Indeed. Not the original plan, but still had a good time.

I have spent the weekend potty training the little mutt.

No, Sloe Gin was in charge of Sloe Gin's plane. I made sure he didn't fly through the thunderstorms and had enough fuel on board...

They don't give pilots a window? ;)

From "Pushing Tin" (great movie, btw):

Nick Falzone: Oh, you really think the pilot is controlling this plane? That would really scare me.

The cider joint has some good ideas, and I liked the space. They really have to find an off-site place to make that citrus one though. Whole place reeked of biffy.

Seriously. Smelled like an outhouse. At least you eventually go nose-deaf to it.

Watching a pretty great lightning show here in New Orleans. Thunder was rattling the Windows a bit ago too. I consider it a sign that I might get to be at some Stanley Cup Finals games when I get home Thursday.

Cleaning my bathroom this morning and all of a sudden I'm standing in a puddle of water. Look under the sink and it's all wet. Greeeeaaat. apparently when I had loosened the thingie so I could take out my sink stopper, I never tightened it back so all the water that was going down the drain was coming out that hole. At least that's what I think. Because I've run the sink and it appears to be fixed. I didn't need that today.

I'm surprised the place was so busy when it smelled so ****ty.

Rainy day here, again. War movie time, because obvious reasons.
