Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

I'm going to be terribly disappointed with the weather next week in D-town, aren't I?

I don't know, but I bet you'll be terribly disappointed with D-town. Not happy with a playoff game at 2 PM on a gorgeous Saturday when the next week looks like it gets cool, rainy and yucky.:(

Spent some time there back during the winter classic. And passed by when I spent a summer working on the great lakes 4 years ago. I won't be shocked by it.

Yes, mid-afternoon games are a farce.

beautiful day out... River Hawks lax has a long way to go. UMBC has a nice campus... Lost in the 1970s but well built it seems. Except that it's exceptionally easy to get lost for a newbies and there's a hell of a lot of stairs.

Back in the land of slides and air conditioning. Which is good because I didn't like being lost

Fun time at the craft beer fest. Probably tried 25-30 different breweries (most of which I hadn't heard of before). Before you ask, the glass was a 2-oz glass, and I was only having them fill it half-full; normally they fill the whole glass.

One peeve: STUPID F*ING HIPSTERS that don't get out of the way after getting their sample. MOVE, YOU MOTHERF*ERS. THERE ARE OTHERS WAITING TO TRY THE BEER.

Morning Lodge. Did not get a turkey on dl's farm this morning. Birds were gobbling away in the woods behind our blind but they must have heard or seen us and went the other way. Maybe next weekend.

Good morning Lodge. Need to do some food shopping. And other shopping. And watch several hours of recorded TV. And laundry. And start packing for my trip next weekend. And I have no motivation to get up off my couch to do any of it.

Yikes! Sitting on the stool in the blind was NOT good for my back. Can barely straighten up and can't walk well at all. Tried ibuprofen, stretching it and icing it. Next step is to fill the jacuzzi tub and try the heat and jets on it. :(

At Tropicana for Yanks and Rays. Game 4 of 4 of my homestand. Off day tomorrow before the 4 in 3 road trip to D-town.
