Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #175: More Spring Cleaning

Met with a company that sought me out via my resume at school and LinkedIn. Ended up being a 90 minute meeting; very intrigued by the possibilities and excited with how well it went! I was pretty nervous just because companies are fairly selective when hand picking people to meet with, so I'm glad the initial meeting went well.

Well, that depends on the company doing the seeking. If it's a life insurance company looking for a financial advisor, they'll take anybody so long as you're not drooling during the meeting. Even then...

What a crazy game last night. Good showing by Minnesota fans. Also got to meet mookie.

Howdy, El Lodge-O.

My game-watching was Twitter updates, as I was at a work event of the wife's. Probably for the best, as that last 10 minutes would've killed me in person.

Then today the in-laws called with extra orchestra tickets for Saturday night. That was a quick, easy "No thanks." :D

That PC team looked solid.

Oh yeah, one other thing: There be some craaaaaazy folks over in Div I. Did anybody ever mention this before? Yeah, you probably have. Still, usually it's other team crazy. Suddenly it's my team crazy. Not good. Makes the family look bad. Gonna have to send Moose and Rocco to somebody's house, capisce?

I'm staying out of that after my go-round with him over the regionals scheduling. So glad other BU fans are piling on him.

I think everyone of us has a few in our fanbase we'd like to have Moose and Rocco visit.

Yep. Once it became an all-eastern title game, I read about 2 pages and quit. Doubt I'll make it over there very often until next season.

Took an oxy pill after my dentist appt, the pain was too much (I HATE pills; even ibuprofen). Of course, it did to me what I thought it would do: gave me ALL the jitters/ADHD/etc. Wanted to run around the block about a dozen times just to be able to chill. I've only taken oxy twice before in my life (the Vicodin version has even a stronger effect on me, in the same way). Unless I'm in blinding pain, I doubt I'll take another one this weekend. On the bright side, I can actually eat now. Just had an uber-protein shake to get something in my stomach for lunch, so I could take the oxy and anti-biotic pills, so I was HUNGRY at dinner time.

We just discussed your two part root canal. Sorry to hear

The Lone Ranger and Tonto

The Lone Ranger and Tonto walked into a saloon and sat down to drink a beer.

After a few minutes, a big tall cowboy walked in and said "Who owns the big white horse outside?"
The Lone Ranger stood up, hitched his gun belt, and said, "I do....Why?"

The cowboy looked at the Lone Ranger and said, "I just thought you'd like to know that
your horse is about dead outside!"

The Lone Ranger and Tonto rushed outside and sure enough Silver was ready to die from heat exhaustion.
The Lone Ranger got the horse water and soon Silver was starting to feel a little better.

The Lone Ranger turned to Tonto and said, "Tonto, I want you to run around Silver and see if
you can create enough of a breeze to make him start to feel better.
" Tonto said, "Sure, Kemosabe" and took off running circles around Silver.

Not able to do anything else but wait, the Lone Ranger returned to the saloon to finish his drink.

A few minutes later, another cowboy struts into the bar and asks, "Who owns that big white horse outside?"
The Lone Ranger stands again, and claims, "I do, what's wrong with him this time?"

(.. I JUST LOVE THIS PART ....)

"Nothing, but you left your injun runnin!"

Aren't ya glad I know your e-mail address?

Good evening Lodge.

Checking in from the great outdoors. The g family decided to go camping last minute.

We are all settled in for the night. The wood stove is stoked and the tent is nice and toasty.

I hope so. Still have the chilly nights, even down here.
