Yeah, there were some ***** MSU fans by us, the kind that instead of cheering for their team they started yelling at the closest Tech fans. They were all obviously bandwagon fans, that were clueless. And one guy that was about 50 years old, not wearing any MSU stuff, and was there just to cause trouble. Don't know what team he was a fan of but he was wearing maroon under his jacket, so you can guess.

That game combined with some bad experiences in Mankato have given us a very bad impression of Mavericks fans. There like UND-Lite.

So, there IS a chance for a MN-MTU title game. IF that happens, I'm 50-50 on just driving to the airport on that Saturday and heading to BOS. Already have a place to crash, if that happens, too. VENGEANCE FOR 1975! ;)

Tech and MN would meet in the National Semifinals, not the championship game, i believe. MN is in #3 BU's region, Tech is in #2 UND's region. It should be set up so 2 plays 3 in the semi's.

What were they yelling? Stuff about sandbags and levees?

I was glad it's a Fri-Sat bracket.
If it was a Sat-Sun bracket and lowly MN somehow snuck past the juggernaut UMD only to fae the powerhouse BU I would have needed to tap-dance my way out of attending a baptism. :)

I know, jeez. They're all acting like this is the first time there's been a regional mid afternoon on a Friday. And they've known about this for a while, plan to take the day.
