Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

Morning Lodge.

Hate being awakened at 3 AM by a headache.

Driving to a State school for a college visit by Jr today (tour is tomorrow), hope to nap in the car while Mrs or Jr are driving. At least it's a hockey school.

Good morning Lodge.

BSU?

It was definitely Mansucko fans, but I do not know what was said, so I cannot comment.

Honestly, I only wore the jersey b/c of 3 things:

1. I just got it about a week ago.
2. WPoS of GPL is forever puzzled at my curiosity of anything Russian
3. Paired it with cracking my Surly SeVIIn. WPoS HATES anything Surly.

So it was a multi-layered "Punk'd" on him. And a fun scene to see when WPoS realized what was happening. :D
Well that's even better considering there was actually some planning done as well!

Less booze on Saturday nights old man! ;) I don't think you'd be staying in Mankato, so that's an unfortunate loss for Jr.:)

May try and sleep another half hour or so and then get up and head to a local establishment for the Selection Show party. Wondering if an ESPN crew will be there or not, and if I'll be able to go to the regional (South Bend) or not (Mabchester).

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

There is a faint smell of propane in the house. Went and checked the propane tank. The needle is on 0% remaining. The only things in the house that run on propane are the furnace and the fireplace. I turned them both off. Might get chilly in the house over night but we will make it.

We are supposed to be on an a automatic refill program so I called the propane company (on a Sunday) and received their messaging service. Left a message to have a person from the company call me. Some smug a hole called me and more or less blamed me and called me an irresponsible person for allowing my tank to run low. "We can come out today but the after hour delivery charge is $200.00". What happened to providing good customer service?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

This is that special time of year when it's best to just stay out of D1 threads, isn't it?

Eh, the Bracketology Thread is ok. The WCHA/B1G tourney threads are ok except MR SERIOUS ALFABLUE!, and the MN/MTU team threads are obviously civil.

Gonna stream the MN women's game today, watch them win another championship. That's the only thing on my agenda.

As for the Mansucko fans, I guess they were directing inappropriate chants at fans, and not the team, and making "sucking dikc" motions toward the fans, etc etc. Basically not going after the general team, but singling out the group.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

Good God is it cold out. And ridiculously windy. On March 22.

The 'rents are coming over today. Mom's going to teach me how to make rizogalo (rice pudding). I tried making it once a few weeks ago by myself without her there and it came out bad. I was so disappointed with myself. I told her she is not going to do it, I need her to walk me through it. Dad can watch bouncyball. Maybe I'll give him stuff to shred for me. It'll keep him busy!

Layover at MSP for a couple hours. True story, no working bathrooms at the airport today. A water main broke I guess.

Hell yes. First thing on my agenda tomorrow is to make a call to get a new tank delivered and filled and then I will make a call to company to come pick up their tank. I will also make sure ex propane company thanks db employee.
