Just got ****ed out of a penalty shot. Two strides clear, got slashed, no SOG. I guess that's not a penalty shot.

Sick to my stomach......hard to watch......send help.....

It's seriously like 45 degrees in here. That's not helping.

We were down byt the Zamboni doors. I was comfortable but the people by the ice were freezing.

Can I just say I am heartily sick of listening to them talk about Eickel instead of anyone else on the ice? For goodness sake! Give the other guys on the ice credit for at least showing up and stop ignoring the rest of the team! He was one point on the night and they haven't talked about anyone else.

Scarlet your goalie is making some sick saves.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

And as I whine now they are doing a spot talking about Eichhel. Sigh. He just scored, all by himself, because no one took that first shot or passed or anything.

A rare appearance at the *HT for Ferris, as I don't follow them nearly as much anymore.

I just hope I'm not at that table tomorrow night.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

HHT!!!!!

Went to the Tech game, saw the last 7-8 minutes of the Gopher game at the bar there (they started 30 min before Tech did), then went back to my seat for the last of the Tech game. A few folks told me I was on tv, saw some pics. Had a very fun time.

Now tomorrow's dilemma: go to the Tech game (and periodically check in on the Gophers), go to the 1st period of the Tech game, then go watch the Gophers (start an hour later), or skip Tech game and watch the Gophers. Today I got a free ticket, and if that's the case tomorrow, then option B is probably my choice.

les, we need to declare a moratorium here. Because your whining (your word) about Eichel is getting me angry. Seriously. The kid deserves all the attention he's getting and more. I don't recall nearly the amount of whining (your word) about Johnny Hockey and he got just as much of a tongue bath as Eichel. This is not the place to make those comments.

I was four rows up from the ice. It felt like halfway thru the game they turned the AC on full blast. I ate something at home before I headed to the Garden but I was pretty hungry between games so I went to get gelato, waited in line for the slowest concession dudes for about 10 minutes, got up to the counter and they were out of chocolate. Big sigh. Here I was, willing to shell out the $7.50 and they didn't have it, even though the sign said chocolate was on of the flavors. "Oh, we ran out." IT'S ONLY 8PM!!! How do you run out???? Didn't get anything to eat and decided to go to Kelly's Roast Beef on the way home. I was starving!!

But yeah....HHT!

Still trying to think of a way to get out to the tournament in St. Paul tomorrow. Probably won't happen, though. Have an errand or two to run in the morning, small gathering with Vera's friends, maybe Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I don't know if we'll have enough time.

You guys were missed today. :(

Don't get me wrong- he is good. Very good. He comes from the next town over so we are getting saturated.

Listening to the commentator enthuse about one person while players are ignored doing good stuff is a pet peeve. Was watching one of the non-Eastern bias leagues and they were going on and on about some player (another Hobey candidate, I think) and I had the same reaction.

I am at the scared HT. (our radio guy quoted Jackie as saying hockey was misnamed- should have been called Goalie. The quote came to mind last night watching first period)

It's the second day of spring so of course it's snowing. Not really accumulating but it's kinda gross. I need to go shopping for a bridal shower gift. And something for my sister-in-law, whose birthday was March 6.
