Good Morning, Lodge!

Week from Hell starts today. It is going to be interesting how I manage this juggling act. Entering orders, Count the items on the container, Try to arrange certification testing for the other site. That is just the beginning.

I have a ton to do this week before putting on training next week. Holy crap.

It doesn't help that I have to take off on Wednesday to head home for my dad's best friends funeral.

So much to do.

The cheerleader is visiting Jr. They are in the living room playing Monopoly. Yes, that is code for. . . Monopoly.:-(

Well, looks like I'm moving. New place in Rochester (MI, not MN). Quieter neighborhood, walking distance to a nice downtown, a big park, Paint Creek & Clinton River Trails, etc.

Meeting at 5 PM today to hand over the check and sign the lease. I can move-in July 1st.

That pretty much commits me to Michigan for another year, at least.
Rochester?? That's almost Cake-eater territory for Michiganders. ;)

Offf..... I'm beat. Had 7 and a half wagons yesterday, and with the race out at MIS this weekend, we couldn't find any help that already wasn't doing something else. So me and my brother pretty much stacked 750 hay bales pretty much by ourselves. And our hay supplier was really tight with help as that he had nobody to shuttle wagons to us, so we did have to stop and run a wagon back to him twice. The second time was with the race letting out and the NASCAR idiots not slowing down to let us cross 12. I had to get out and stop traffic to let my brother get the wagon across the road. "You're just going to ride that guy's bumper the next 20 miles. You can stop for 2 minutes to let us get shibby done. You're missing out on the after party out there at the racetrack anyways."

However, with that all done, we're done!!! We're done with hay!!! :D

Nah, that's Birmingham, Bloomfield, and Franklin. All other moderately wealthy Oakland County suburbs (Rochester, Farmington, Clarkston, Lake Orion, etc.) are just wannabe copies of those three.

Twentysomething 'bro' d-bag is covered by Royal Oak. Alternative lifestylers have "Fabulous/Fashionable" Ferndale. Pontiac might as well be renamed 'New Mexicantown', while Waterford and Auburn Hills have the angle on white trash. Blacks who can afford to leave Detroit live in Southfield and Oak Park.

Oakland County in a nutshell, folks.

I found someone to print and bind my presentation material! I won't have to sit next to the printer with my laptop for 10 hours this week!

It's too hot out, and that's coming from right on the shore of Lake Michigan. I think if i were any farther inland it would be unbearable.

Stuck here at the Birmingham airport. Flight to Charlotte was at 3:15. Right after we cleared security we got a call from US Air that the flight was delayed to 4:30. Ugh. Sat down, had lunch. Got to the gate to wait, got another call that flight now delayed till 5:15. All the while watching the sky outside. Thunder starts. Then bolts of lightning. Then torrential rain and it was so dark you couldn't see the planes about a 1/4 mile across the tarmac. So not it's 5pm and the plan still has not shown up at the gate. ARRRGHHH! I thought the announcement was that the plane landed. It was in the air and en route but I'm assuming this weather has delayed it. Still pouring out now. Who the heck knows when we're going to get out of here.

Johannes Gutenberg?

Good evening Lodge.

The g family is supposed to camp most of this week. The weather is predicted to be very unstable with a high chance of rain/stormy weather the remainder of the week. What to do. What to do.

I thought you would be busy watching Ghana vs USA to be tracking on USCHO.

Ghana vs USA? The USA playing Ghana? We have to play hellholes like that in that stupid tournament? That's just embarrassing.

I'm catching up on the DVR. Fiance is out of town on a business trip, and I have a bunch of stuff piled up that she doesn't watch.
