By all things science and biology.....shouldn't have happened. That being said, yes we be happy about it, it is a blessing. Just not in any plan we had. And hey! We were engaged before this! No shotgun anything!

To say the least. les can correct me, but my future wife said that once you're at her age (let's just say JUST south of 40), the odds of this are about 20%. If you're trying.

Hey, my mom was 37 when I came into the world, and that was back in 77. I know a guy whose mom gave birth to his youngest brother at 43, 21 years after him. That kid not only beat the clock, but beat the goalie in the process, too.

My parents were older by Midwestern standards (they were 31 and 34).

20% bwahahaha!! This is a reason why statistics are only for amusement. Anecdotally I would say at times in my career 50% of my practice has been over 35 when they conceive.

I once had a couple who had a tubal and a vasectomy between them and got pregnant. :eek:

The saying goes if you aren't preventing you are trying and unless you are abstinent all things are possible. :D
