Hahahaa! My FIL was over for dinner. Just left after saying something to the effect that Lil should enjoy himself as it won't be long before he is working 75h a week to support a family of 6 children. Lil's reply, 'Noooo, nooooo,noooo, noooo. Only one. That way they don't try to go in both directions, and you can't keep up." I immediately thought of Hoven :p

A little late to the party but congrats Brent!! How many kids does Rubette have? One of each?

Seriously freezing cold here today. It was 48 degrees, raw and drizzly on my commute home. 48!!!!!!! That's absurd. Suppose to warm up a little more tomorrow. I have Red Sox tickets for Friday so you know what that means. Yeah. Rain.

Rubette has 3 boys (7, 9, and 10; hilarious b/c my nieces are 6 and 8; we broke the sequence!).

les: I laughed a bit, because my bro/SIL and parents stopped at 2: "Don't let them outnumber you!" :D

One really nice thing....b/c of the boys' ages...built-in babysitters when Rube/tteV.2 gets a little older.

Thanks for all the tire advice Lodge. I ended up driving to the closest Discount Tire location and getting a new tire put on that is similar but not exact to the other 3 tires. I didn't want to be doing my usual 70+ mph on I-94 and have a blowout.

Yup. I was worried he might be a serial killer 'cause I met him online, he called me from 4 different phone numbers the first week we started talking, and then he told me stories about working at the cemetery.

Howdy Lodge. Posting from the exam room at the foot doctor. Had an 8:30 appointment but couldn't recall if it was at 8 or. 8:30 so I got here for 8 and it was for 8:30. But they got me at. 8:10 and two minutes later one of the associates came in to look at it and then said "OK the doctor will be right in" and that was 25 minutes ago.

Well, 30 minutes is "right in" for an MD.

Oh yeah, it was finally hot out at the high school trap shooting last night so Nicole from "Rehab Addict" was wearing her tank top. She also made a run to pick up pizzas for the kids on this last night of shooting for the school year.

Its a scam. They consider it a class field trip so no school tomorrow but counted present because they are with the class after midnight. The underclassmen must be either in first thing and stay until 10:30 or come in before 10:30 and stay the rest of the day on Friday. No one accused them of being bright about how things are set up. They also have no clear way to get info about what is going on. I brought this up at PTO and was told the kids are running it so they are responsible for disseminating info- ergo nothing posted on website. If you are motivated then you would go to PTO or listen to the 30 second update they phone every week. We have already established not everyone gets the phone calls, not everyone is free in the evening for PTO. They don't post on the school website. I am the one with the problem because people should be motivated and care enough to search the info out. Something wrong with needing to go to FB and ask on the parents page what is happening / end rant.

On the other hand they make t nigh impossible for the kids to do anything untoward. They are frisked when they arrive at school, walk down thru the promenade for pics, get watched getting in limo and then watched as they get out and go in the place. All bags are searched, etc. Gotta tell you that it would be easier to get into the White House than get a contraband substance into this prom. (They also will probably have the K9 unit there which means things being sniffed out. :eek:
