Morning.

Usually drivers are turkeys, but this AM there was an actual turkey on the road. Sadly I avoided him, so no free food.

Morning Lodge.

Congrats to lil!

JF, we have a guest room that we could let you use for just under the $200/night. We are not near the projects and are within 15 miles of Target field. ;) Seriously, if it's an issue let me know.

gmann, one of the other trap team dads has gotten a room at Arrowwood for Fri-Sat nights and Jr is invited so we're now set for the Largest Youth Shooting Event in the World (or so they are now claiming).

Good Morning, Lodge!

Went to the Twins game last night. Twins suck, but at least I saw my beer vendor and watched Big Papi knock 2 home runs.

At the moment I have a place in Bloomington booked for the 4 nights.

I have an extra fan fest ticket for that Monday (14th?) if someone wanted it.

Good morning Lodge. Just checked my voicemail. I had a message from yesterday, guy said it was 1:47 but he must have been on the west coast because I left the office at 4:40 and my message light on my phone wasn't on. Anyway, listened to it this morning. He starts off by saying "Good morning young lady." Gives his name but doesn't say where he's from but to call him to discuss a publication "and we'll go from there." That is not the best way to do a cold call to sell advertising.

Off tomorrow then heading to Colorado Springs on Sunday for a meeting. Due to the soaking rain for Saturday, my parents have cancelled their yard sale so I don't have to go over there to help them out. Now I can sit on my couch the next two days to catch up on the several hours of shows on my DVR!

I'm not so sure that "advertising" is what he's trying to sell there.

Mornin' y'all.

My body is finally readjusting to getting up early which is nice. I went for a beer after our softball game last night an ran into a father of a kid I graduated with. We chatted for a bit, asked how school was going, etc. He then proceeded to tell me to call him in the fall to talk about an internship with his company. I was pretty thrilled to have a place to apply already.

Won't get a chance on this trip but heading back on June 5th and will be staying there. Looking forward to that. I went many years ago when BU played Denver and CC. So pretty.

Mookie is going to be in Denver June 25-26 before driving to Nebraska to golf his balls

Nice November day here in MSP.

They're predicting 10-15F below normal for the next few days, just like the last few months. One of these days we're going to get to normal temps, and we won't have had a chance to adjust to those temps, and so we're going to melt where we stand.

For $199.99 a night you can have the entire g estate to yourself. Nowhere near the projects and about 7 mikes from the shooting event. :)

Home. 560ish miles, took just short of 12 hours total, but I spend a couple of that with a buddy who is stationed at Ft. Rucker, in Army Aviation training for UH60's, so he gave me a little insider tour of the base and had lunch. Also had a lengthy stop between 2-3 pm, had to fend off the sleep monsters.

Atleast I get to enjoy home for 9 hours before taking off for Milwaukee. Someday I'll quit being young AND stupid, maybe.
