I just turn on the radio, and there are almost always DJs playing songs. Unless it is a commercial, or talk radio.

Our wedding DJ is a DJ in Milwaukee, he DJs at Silk. hp, are you going to Silk?

LOL...

"She's my Cherry Pie..."

:D

Talk about #OppositeGirl....closed on my mortgage refi on Monday. It's over! I posted that, went out for drinks last night and jokingly toasted to the conclusion of the nightmare process. Told my friends how annoying it was that I was asked to provide something? Usually while traveling. Is ask of there was anything else, would be told that's it, then wpd be on the road again and I'd get another email.

So I took today off and am heading out on another trip on Sunday and guess what? Get an email saying today is the day my loan funds and they are trying to verify my employment. Today. On a Friday afternoon. My boss is not in, no idea about my HR person and I leave Sunday along with my manager and her boss. I don't know whether to cry or burst into laughter. How about telling me that at my closing so I could've let someone know and find someone to answer that question ahead of time?? It has astounded me how these emails seem to show up when I am out.

In fairness Scarlet, you are rarely at work anymore. You seem to always be on the road.

But the process does seem unnecessarily difficult.

It sounds similar to the experience my brother went through with Citi recently. His experience was so bad that the guy in charge of handling his mortgage there got fired over it and they ended up cutting my brother and his wife a partial rebate on the closing costs.

My refi was about as easy, and painfree as I could have imagined. I guess I should be plugging Bell Mortgage, here in MN, since they made the process go very smoothly.

Also, anyone interested in purchases barware, glasses, pitchers, shakers, etc. for their own use, I have to highly recommend homewetbar dot com. I bought some new glasses there a couple weeks ago, for the house, got them a few days later, and found that one had a chipped rim. Went to their website, filled out a very simple return form, and they shipped me a replacement the next day. They let me keep the original, which came in a package of 2, and shipped 2 new ones. So I ended up with an extra glass as well. No questions asked. No hassle. In addition to that, a few days later they sent my a 10% off gift card "for my troubles".

In fairness to whom? I had my closing FOUR days ago. Not one time during the hour my broker and the lawyer were at my home that morning to complete the refinance did they mention there would be another step. In fact, the words, "And you're all set!" were spoken. Which lead me to believe this was all done/complete/finito. And now, late on a Friday afternoon, I get a panic email from them having trouble reaching my HR people to verify my employment? Seriously? And given that they know that I travel a lot they maybe could have taken the initiative to give me a heads up that they were going to be doing that? That has been my biggest beef - I keep telling them I'm not going to be around and when I out I get a request for something I cannot provide them. If they had, oh, I don't know, told me ahead of time, a lot of this aggravation could have been avoided.

So your wedding DJ is a strip club DJ? What kind of wedding is this going to be anyway? Will there be a Champagne Room? :D
