Yay insomnia. Got about 3 hours sleep last night. I think a long nap is in order this afternoon before the Preakness.

Good morning Lodge.

Little g turns 8 on 5/20!!!!!!!!!!!

We took him and ten of his friends bowling last night. Herding cats is not easy. ;)

The only request he had for a birthday gift was to attend a Twins game (he actually asked to go to the Twins vs. Padres in San Diego. Nice try). Today we will head to cityslickerville for the twins game this evening. We have some sweet seats. Hopefully Mother Nature cooperates and it looks like she will.

Good Morning, Lodge!

Happy early birthday to lil' g. Have a great time at the Twins game.

Mr. and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary last night at a great Mediterranean place in Eagan.

Booked flights last night, the boss and I are going to the Seattle area for 10 days in late July. :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #173: (Insert Title)

So for the last three or four days the weather folks have all predicted that today was going to be a washout. Rain was supposed to start last night and go through early afternoon. My parents had a yard sale scheduled for today. They cancelled it. This has been in the works for a while. They're putting their house on the market on June 1. Next week is Memorial Day and the weekend after that they blink they will be having an open house so now they probably won't have it at all, and this morning? The sun is out. While not mad about a lovely Saturday without rain, I'm really annoyed that they can't get something as simple as this correct. Just like winter.

Struggling. 2.5 hours of sleep, although I did snag a few hour nap yesterday afternoon. About to go from Baltimore back to Tampa, first flight arrived 15 minutes early!

Show last night was at Oak Lounge, bbdl.

Ich hatte eine deutsche Klasse.

Afternoon, Lojrz.

We get to get dressed up tonight. A company who wishes to keep MrsStPaul happy invited us to their table at a big costume ball. It sounds like plenty of folks do the real, fancy, rent-a-theatrical-costume thing. Being invited guests we're keeping it low key: I'm going straight tux, while my wife bought a giganto hat. (Though it was tempting to show up in a two-person horse costume.) Look for us in the society pages, baby! :D

Showing up in "straight tux" is code for going as a paid waiter. ;)

Never saw the allure of a plain tuxedo. Too boring.

Evening, Lodge. Caught up on sleep, watched a great Preakness, and now watching the Twins while waiting for m'lady to arrive, and heading out to a friend's get-together for the evening.

Say hi to everyone for me. Please. :)

Went to the BIL's place to watch the Twins game. Came home with a tote bag of crappy beer. Awesome night so far.

Great Twins game this evening. The weather was perfect and the game itself was pretty entertaining.

Before the game the boys were approached to raise the Minnesota state flag during the national anthem. Then, both boys got on the big screen dancing to a tune between innings. They were doing the sprinkler and got quite the roar from the crowd.

What a great time.

Morning Lodge. Fun night last night. Had some good homebrews, a bunch of USCHOers/GPLers hanging around, and a decent firepit.

I think today will be a lazy Sunday, given the beautiful weather here.
