The girlfriend's sister's wedding is in a few weeks. I'm a little blue for her liking, so she likes to try and tick me off. (Nothing big, just giving each other crap here and there.) Well, her latest tactic was to tell me that I have to wear a tux to the wedding. Being a musician I just replied "What style? I have three." You could just see the wheels turning as she tried to come up with something witty.

You should have just let it go, and showed up in a Dumb and Dumber orange Tux.

Nice. :D

Just saw pics of Little g on FB. In one of them it shows the g's from the back. He is standing up so straight!! Wow. Just goes to show you what the experts know!! :D

Been raining all day here today, often coming down hard. There are now ducks swimming in my backyard. My dock is fully surrounded by water. Hope it stops raining soon like the weather guessers said.

Just got back from urgent care for little gII. A bowling ball was dropped (from about a foot above) onto one of his fingers Friday evening at little g's birthday party at the bowling alley. Looks pretty nasty. Purple and swollen and solid as a rock. Doc had to relieve the pressure. Good times.

Well.....F this week already.

Jeep is not turning over. It wants to, but it isn't. Was running fine at 4pm. Thinking water got in somewhere where it shouldn't or something. That's the lesser bad news. Got home thanks to a co-worker, and had a text from my brother. His FIL passed away tonight, probably from a heart attack (he's had a couple in the past). His MIL came home to two ambulances and the garage door open. They are thinking he knew something was going wrong and called 911 himself, but it was too late. :(

Not a good calendar year for our family whatsoever. :(

Let's not talk about heart attacks right now.

Woke up this morning and check FB, only to find that my mom's brother had 2 heart attacks in the night. Flat-lined twice. Currently under heavy sedation in ICU, as he's fighting the machines. 62 years old, smokes like a chimney, and has never taken proper care of himself. Most of that side of the family does not, for that matter. 2nd go-round for him, heart attack-wise.

Made my decision real easy this morning as to whether to get up and get on the treadmill, or reach for the snooze button a couple times.

Concur, let's not talk about this.

Dad just went in for a cath. They found a 75% blockage and put in a stent.

Jeeeez, sorry, man. :(

So am I, but your news is worse than mine.

This is the brother of the uncle that I lost a few years ago at 52. 20 years older than me. Another heart attack. Their mother? Two days before Christmas, heart attack, when I was 7. 57 years old at the time. My mom's father? 48 years old, stomach cancer, two years before I was born.

I'm going to be 40 this fall. My blood pressure is borderline "get your *** to the hospital" high. Yep, I need to make some major changes, immediately, if not sooner. That's why the treadmill made for such an easy decision this morning after I got off FB.

So, no, no more talk about heart attacks, please.

No problem.

Happy thing: sunny and near 80 all this week and weekend are forecast. I like.

Mid 70s to 80 here the rest of the week. Rain tomorrow night and Wednesday. I can turn the furnace off and enjoy this.

Good Morning Lodge.

Sorry to hear about all the health problems for relatives here. :( Take care of yourselves everyone. Be like Ralph and go ride your bike - only not in the middle of the night!
