Of LSD? Crack cocaine? What are you hitting here, mookie?

I'm about to hit the bottle of Nyquil and hit the pillow for the last time on a boat for 2 weeks!

9ish hour drive to Tampa tomorrow from Alabama, Milwaukee Friday for a show, fly back to Tampa early Saturday on probably next to zero sleep. I see Monster energy drinks in my future for the next couple days.

Do your tours on the boat always end in the same place? Do you know where your last port will be before heading to work? I'm just wondering because you're going to drive home, which means you're either renting a car for the day or you're told where you can park your car before hopping onto the boat.

w0000t!! Just back from a track meet. Lil's team beat a team they haven't beaten since >50 yrs. The meet was close and the other coach filed a protest on our 800 runner (horse hockey pucks. NO ONE ever does that) and got him DQ'd even tho the kid on the other team did something that could have DQ'd him too. Our kid beat him by 15 M so it wasn't even close. That made the meet come down to the 4X400 at the end. Lil ran a 53.~ first leg, blew the thing wide open and they ended up winning the race and the meet. Take that you squirrelly bastage coach from the other team!! And they qualified for states they ran so well. Lil also won the Mile. It was a good day. More excited they stuffed the other team in the relay than he won the Mile. Poor sportsmanship on the other team. No one does that crap. Not only that but the 2 coaches are friends and ran together for the team that lost. :) Happy Happy Joy Joy!! Love when someone does something stupid and loses anyway!! w000000000t!!! I am a little excited!

wow. The hotel price gouge for All-Star week in July is insane. Crappy hotels in the projects are over $100, and anything within 15 miles of downtown is $200-500 a night.

Nope, because I primarily work on the inland rivers/Intercoastal Waterway, I could get off the boat in Texas one time, and Kentucky the next. It all depends where we are on that day.

Since I'm ~90 minutes north of Mobile, my nearest airports would be BHM (3 hours+ drive), MOB/PNS (not many flights), or JAN (not many flights). So, the lesser of 2 evils, which gets me home earlier, is to drive the 9 hours home.

The guy coming to take over for me, is given a rental car by the company to bring to the boat, so I have a way to get to (airport or destination here). My company takes care of all traveling I do for work.
